Rules & Format
Format:
Matches will be played in round-robin or pool play, followed by a single-elimination playoff for qualifying teams.
Game format and number of games may vary by division based on total registrations.
Scoring:
Games to 15 points, win by 2.
Championship matches will be best out of 3 sets up to 11 win by 2
Referee:
Semi Finals for Cash Prize Division & All Finals will be refereed
Cash Prizes:
Cash prizes will be awarded to top finishers in select divisions (See event list)
Prize amounts may vary depending on division size and total registrations.
Member Discount
Life Time members will receive a discount, please see Pickleball staff for code.
Divisions:
Divisions will be based on skill level to ensure fair and competitive matchups.
Players must register in the appropriate division for their ability level.
Tournament staff reserve the right to combine or adjust divisions based on registration numbers.
Rules of Play:
All matches will follow USAPA rules.
Proper court etiquette and sportsmanship are expected at all times.
Any disputes will be resolved by the tournament director, whose decision is final.
Check-In:
Players must check in at least 30 minutes before their scheduled start time.
Failure to check in on time may result in forfeiture.
DUPR Rating Policy
To ensure fair and competitive play across all divisions, the Lifetime Woodbridge Winter Cla$$ic will be strictly enforcing DUPR ratings.
Each team’s average DUPR rating must not exceed 0.5 above the division they register for.
For example, a team entering a 3.5 division must have a combined team average of 3.999 or lower.
Tournament staff will review all registrations and reserve the right to:
Move teams to a higher division
Deny entry if no appropriate division is available
Remove teams that are not compliant
This policy is in place to maintain competitive balance, protect the integrity of each division, and ensure the best possible experience for all players.
Players are responsible for registering in the correct division based on their current DUPR rating.
