Loudoun Pickleball Club 1st Winter Masters Slam Championship!

This is a non-sanctioned indoor tournament being held at the Life Time Loudoun with 50+ Age & Skill Divisions in Men's and Women's Singles, Men's and Women's Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. The tournament will also feature Open Divisions within each of the Men's and Women's and Mixed events with Prizes awarded to the Top Teams/Players. Matches will take place on 6 inside pickleball courts

TOURNAMENT DATES:

1/4 Thursday - Men's & Women's 65+ Doubles

1/5 Friday - Men's & Women's 50+ Singles

1/6 Saturday - Men's & Women's 50-64 Doubles

1/7 Sunday - Mixed 50+ Doubles

Registration is $45 per player that includes the 1st Event. $20 for each addtional event. There is also a Pickleball Brackets nonrefundable service fee of $5 per event or a maximum of $10 when registering for 2 or more events.

We are a non-profit 501(c)3 WLC Pickleball DBA Loudoun Pickleball Club and all of the monies raised goes back into Loudoun Pickleball.

RULES & FORMAT:

This is not a USAPA sanctioned event; however, all USAPA 2023 rules will apply.

Brackets will be either Double Elimination or Round Robin depending on the number of participating teams/players. Tournament Director reserves the right to adjust the Bracket Format as needed.

Double Elimination bracket matches will be1 games to 15 win by 2 in the Winners' Bracket and 1 game to 11 win by 2 in the Consolation Bracket. Teams/players in the Consolation Bracket will have a chance to advance back into the medal rounds. Gold Medal and Bronze Medal matches will be 1 game to 15 win by 2. Tournament Director reserves the right to adjust the Match Format as needed.

Round Robin bracket matches will be either 1 games to 11 win by 2 or 1 game to 15 win by 2. Medals in the Round Robin brackets will be determined based on play results. Tournament Director reserves the right to adjust the Match Format as needed.

Medals will be awarded to the top 3 teams/players in each bracket.

Format

Changes may be made as necessary to any/all brackets at the discretion of the tournament director up to the start of play of each bracket.

Teams must be fully registered within 5 days or will be moved to Wait List.

The Cancellation Deadline is 12/28/23. Full refunds (less the Pickleball Brackets nonrefundable service fee) will be given through this date; however, there will be no refunds after this date.
