If a 50+ Age Bracket does not reach the minimum of 4 teams, it will NOT automatically be combined with Open Age (may combine levels if appropriate). Instead, we will offer credit for a future event. It’ll be up to the players whether they want to play in All Ages or receive credit or refund.
You may only play UP one skill level from your rating. Ex: 3.25 can play 3.0 or play up in 3.5, but can't register for 4.0 or above. For 50+ Divisions PBC may use the DUPR 50+ rating to determine your bracket.
Events: Men’s and Women's Doubles – Women's "Road to 5.0 Series"
Cost: $55 ($70 for Road to 5.0)
Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 5 games, with additional games for teams advancing into bracket play.
Doubles Division Selection:
2.5 = Players under 3.0
3.0 = Players under 3.5
3.5 = Players under 4.0
4.0 = Players under 4.5
4.5 = Players under 5.0
Select division based on the highest rating of the 2 players. Ex: Player A is 3.75 and Player B is 4.1 you must register for the 4.0 Division.
If your rating increases after you register, you might be moved to a higher division.

Road to 5.0 Series: This is an All New Series presented by Pickleball Charleston. For those 4.5 players that are “on the road to 5.0” and are looking for competitive tournament formats and chance to win money.
To participate in this bracket your rating needs to be between 4.25 and 5.25 (only ONE player on a team can be over 5.0). If you are below 4.25 or above 5.25 and register for the event you will be automatically, we will withdraw you from the event and refund your registration minus $10.
Players must have a DUPR rating with official league/tournament posted. Rating is based on the "Date of Registration", therefore there may be players above or below the threshold on tournament day as long as they met the requirements on the day they registered.
Format: Round Robin into a Single Elimination Bracket
Round Robin Games: Standard Scoring to 11 win by 2
1x Bracket Games: Standard Scoring to 15 win by 2. Championship Match is best of 3 (11 by 2)
