June 7 - Mens & Womens Singles Events
June 8 - Mens & Womens Doubles Events
June 9 - Mixed Doubles Events
Registration: $50.00 plus $15.00 per additional event
Skill Levels: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, Open (4.5+).
Registration Opens: May 4, 2024 at Noon
Registration Closes: May 19, 2024 at 9:00 p.m.
Age is based on age as of December 31, 2024
REGISTRATION
All registration is through Pickleball Brackets where you must have created a profile.
All registrants MUST be a Pickleball Canada member in good standing to play in this tournament. Please ensure your Pickleball Canada Membership number and your skill level are up to date in your pickleballbrackets.com profile before registering for this tournament. If you are not a Pickleball Canada member, you can become a member at https://pickleballcanada.org/
All participants must have a Pickleball Brackets rating. In doubles events, should both players choose to, they may play up ONLY a 0.5 rating level from their current PBB rating.
SKILL LEVELS
3.0, 3.5, 4.0, Open (4.5+)
When registering for a skill level, eg. 4.0 at least one of the players must be rated at the skill level of the event. Eg. a 3.5 playing with a 4.0 player are eligible to play in 4.0. Two 3.5 players cannot play in 4.0.
FORMAT
Round Robin, one game to 11, win by 2, cap at 13
Events with 4 or 5 teams will have only one pool. The top 4 teams advance to the medal round
Events with 8, 9 or 10 teams will be split into two pools. The top 2 teams from each pool advance to the medal round
Preliminary playoff: Pool A2 vs Pool B1, Pool B2 vs Pool A1
Winners of preliminary playoff matches play for Gold/Silver, one game to 15, win by 2, no cap
Losers of preliminary playoff matches play for Bronze, one game to 15, win by 2, no cap
PLAYOFF FORMAT AFTER ROUND ROBINS
#1 vs #2 for Gold/Silver, one game to 15, win by 2, no cap
#3 vs #4 for Bronze, one game to 15, win by 2, cap at 17
MEDAL ROUND
Bronze Medal Matches: One game to 15, win by 2, cap at 17
Gold Medal Matches: One game to 15, win by 2, no cap.
Singles Events will be Round Robin, 1 game to 15
Medal Round
- if one pool, top four players, 1 vs 2 for Gold/Silver, 3 vs 4 for Bronze, 1 game to 15
- if two pools, top 2 players from each pool advance to medal round
- Preliminary playoff: A2 vs B1, B2 vs A1, one game to 15
- Winners of preliminary playoff play for Gold/Silver, 1 game to 15
- Losers of preliminary playoff play for Bronze, 1 game to 15
NOTE: In order to keep singles events competitive, please note that singles events will be limited to players who qualify for the skill level of the event.
The Tournament Director may modify the format of any event depending on registration numbers.
ONLINE registration only. Registration is not complete until BOTH partners have registered, signed the online waiver, and PAID; online payment via PayPal using a credit card. When the maximum per event is reached based on fully registered/paid teams, others will be added to the waitlist.
All players must complete their registration and submit payment by May 19, 2023, at 9:00 pm, or they will be placed on the waitlist. Players may enter as a team or look under "Players Needing Partners" to find a partner. If a partner has NOT completed their registration within THREE days of the first partner registering, the team will be automatically MOVED TO THE WAITLIST. When the identified partner registers after the three-day grace period, the team will move from the waitlist back to the active list ONLY if there is a slot available.
In the case of waitlists, in doubles events - teams will take priority over individuals.
COMPLETE registration means: Both partners have registered, signed the waiver and paid in full.
The tournament director reserves the right to review, and possibly alter the rating of players who self-rate below or above their actual rating. The tournament director reserves the right to merge or split brackets based on event registration.

Certified Referees - $15/ match Level 2 Referees - $10/ match
Level 1 Referees - $7/ match Volunteer Referees - $5/ match
Paddles must be USAPA approved
If a player is wearing clothing that is the same colour as the ball, he/she might be asked to change apparel by the Tournament Director.

Refund Policy
REFUND POLICY
Registrants withdrawing before May 19, 2024, 9:00 p.m. will be refunded registration & event fees minus a $15.00 administration fee. Absolutely NO refunds for any reason after May 19, 2024, 9:00 p.m. for player cancellations / withdrawals.
If the tournament cannot be played because of inclement weather, Provincial Health guidelines or another unforeseen situation beyond the control of tournament organizers, registrants will be refunded their fees minus a $15.00 administration fee.
