Come join us for the Fourth Annual Making Memories Classic, a major fundraiser in support of the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Indiana. Dementia, of which Alzheimer’s disease is one form, is increasing in incidence both globally and in the U.S., where more than 100,000 Hoosiers are currently affected. The more than $139,600 raised in the first three years of this event have helped fund research efforts, community education and 24/7 support for care givers of individuals with the disease with an ultimate goal of a world without Alzheimer’s disease and all forms of dementia. This year’s tournament promises to be the most fun and exciting thus far. Through collaboration with the City of Greenwood and its Parks Department, the 2025 Making Memories Classic will again be held on the 16 courts in Freedom Park. These dedicated pickleball courts with permanent nets are lighted and surrounded by a large area for parking.

The pickleball complex is located immediately adjacent to the Freedom Springs Aquatic Park. Bring family and friends for a combined weekend of competitive pickleball and awesome pools and water slides! A separate entry fee into the Aquatic Park is required. Once again, this year we’re planning a Friday evening kickoff event with food, music and open play on the courts. As in the past, plans call for a hospitality tent with free water, fruit and snacks for participants, vendors selling apparel and other items, an auction with great items and food and beer trucks serving players and fans throughout the three day event.

Format will be round robin leading to a single elimination medal round. Brackets will be divided by age, however some brackets may be combined depending upon number of registrants. This Tournament will follow all USAP rules.

The 5.0 Open Divisions will have a cash payout to the top 3 teams. The Cash Payout amount is dependent on how many teams sign up.

No refunds after cancellation date of 6/1/2025. No refunds due to weather cancellation. No refunds of services fees from Stripe or pickleball brackets. All proceeds will be donated. All refunds will be given out after the completion of the tournament.

Open division payout is based on a 10 team minimum per event. If fewer than 10 teams register, payouts will adjusted.

Gold: $500 per team

Silver: $250 per team

Bronze: $100 per team

This is an outdoor tournament. Please plan accordingly, if adverse weather impacts the day of play updates will be posted here.
