Welcome to the third annual Pickleball Slammer brought to you by the Marco Island Police Foundation. The Marco Island Police Foundation supports those protecting our community. Since 2001, the Marco Police Foundation has been a community-based, non-political, civic-minded, charitable organization that supports the Marco Island Police Department (MIPD) by providing continuing education scholarships, encouraging citizen participation in maintaining community safety, and assisting with Neighborhood Watch, traffic and crowd control programs.

Saturday - men's and women's doubles (any age)

Sunday - mixed doubles

Format:

Round robin into single elimination bracket

*The number of teams making it into the bracket will be determined by number of teams entered

January 1, 2025 - CANCELLATION DEADLINE (for refunds minus a $10 withdrawal fee)

No refunds for any reason after the cancellation deadline (1/1/25) unless the registration and weather insurance policy was purchased before the cancellation deadline (1/1/25)

REGISTRATION AND WEATHER INSURANCE POLICY:

During registration you may choose to purchase the registration and weather insurance policy in the event you have to cancel out of the event after the cancellation deadline (1/1/25). See the policy for specific coverage details. The insurance will also cover your event fee in the case your event is cancelled due to weather without a make-up day option.

WEATHER POLICY

This is an outdoors event. If weather or any other unforeseen circumstance occurs we will do everything we can to get your matches played. If we are mid play when a weather or unforeseen circumstance occurs the situation will be evaluated on a case by case basis to determine if the bracket may be finished or if winners may be determined.

We value your play time and will do our best to make sure you get to play.
