Winner takes all in each bracket! We expect players to play with integrity in their appropriate skill division, sandbagging will not be tolerated, but you can play up in skill if desired. Use your DUPR score to determine your appropriate bracket. If you are signing up for a doubles event, we use the average of your DUPR ratings to determine eligibility.

We are playing single elimination after your pool play guaranteed games.

The Match Point Open tournament director will review DUPR scores and win/loss history. We reserve the right to move players between skill brackets based on this data.

If a division doesn't meet the minimum registration requirement, it may be canceled without affecting the payouts for other divisions. Winners will receive their cash prize the day of the tournament!

All players must complete payment and ensure a partner is chosen. Both teammates must be registered and paid to compete.

Withdrawals before the registration closes on September 1, 2024 will receive a full refund minus a $25 fee. Players on the waitlist won't be charged the event fee unless they move into the event. If not, a full refund is issued after the tournament. Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days post-tournament.

This tournament offers a cash prize of $500 per division winner takes all with a total prize pool of $8,500. Proton Sports will double your prize money if you win with a Proton pickleball paddle.

In case of disruptive weather or force majeure, the tournament will be rescheduled, and registrations will be valid for the new date. Refunds are only issued if requested before registration closes on September 1, 2024.

🌡️ Please make sure to stay hydrated! This is an indoor air-conditioned facility, but it will still be hot outside.

All players must adhere to the Match Point Open Code of Conduct, The Pickleball Space Court Rules and Guest Code, and USAP Code of Conduct which ensure fair and safe competition. Violations such as threats, violence, harassment, or disruptive behavior will result in ejection and possible legal action. No refunds will be given to players that violate these governing rulesets. Weapons, drugs, and alcohol are strictly prohibited.

Match Point Open will not be held liable for any injuries or losses during the event. Players must self-report their DUPR Rating accurately - any attempt to sandbag will result in ejection and disqualification from prizes.
