Tournament Description

A casual, fun tournament for players age 50+, as of 12/31/2023. This is a non-sanctioned tournament subject to USAPA rules with modifications. PLAYERS MUST HAVE AN ACCOUNT ON PICKLEBALLBRACKETS.COM TO PARTICIPATE. If you do not currently have an account on pickleballbrackets.com you can create one free of charge on that website.

Tournament Fees:

$30 Registration, $20 Event Fee (*$35 event fee if registering for both men's/women's doubles and mixed doubles), $5 Fusesport Fee

Schedule:

March 13- 15, 2023 (Monday - Wednesday)

Check in 7am - all divisions

Men's doubles - Monday 8am start

Mixed doubles - Tuesday 8am start

Women's doubles - Wednesday 8am start

Brackets will be based on skill level 3.0 - 5.0 (primary) and age in 5-year age brackets (secondary). The tournament director will retain the option of combining age groups, if necessary based on registrations, but skill brackets will not be combined.

All brackets will be round robin format with matches consisting of single games to 15 win by 2, or best 2-of-3 to 11 win by 2, at the discretion of the tournament director. Large brackets may be broken into pools at the discretion of the tournament director, with single-elimination playoff of pool winners to determine final medals.

Gold, Silver, Bronze Awarded to All Age Groups Within Each Bracket

Refund Policy

Under extenuating circumstances, refunds of registration fees and event fees may be offered due to illness or injury, except that the Fusesport fee is a non-refundable fee paid directly to our registration software vendor.

No refunds will be offered after the close of registration, except in the unforeseen circumstance of an event cancellation.

Parking available at the venue, on the roadside adjacent to the venue, and across the street in the West parking lot of the Mesquite Recreation Center. Please do NOT park in front of the Recreation Center as that area is reserved for Recreation Center members only.
