Tournament Description
Welcome to the 2025 MID-ATLANTIC REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
The Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournament is a must play event putting your skill to the test against some of the best players from Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, New York and more. This tournament will be held at Cranberry Township's beautiful Graham Park (North of Pittsburgh, PA). Sign up today to ensure your spot.” We have 30 outdoor courts available for the tournament play in which 19 of them are dedicated pickleball courts and 11 courts are temporary (cable-portable nets). All 30 courts will have dividing fences between courts to minimize ball interferance. Thirteen of the courts have lights. All courts are located together in one complex. There is also free parking at the courts.
The Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship at Graham Park, Cranberry Township, PA. will be held on June 5, 6,7,8. We will be offering round robin format followed by a 4-team single elimination bracket in most events. This format allows for a greater number of points for participants in a shorter time span allowing for a greater player experience.
NEW THIS YEAR: DUPR:
This is a DUPR Rated tournament and ratings will be used for registration and sign-ups. All matches will be reported to DUPR to add to your overall rating. If you don't have a DUPR rating, you will have one after this tournament. Please visit mydupr.com to make a free account. You must create an account to play in this tournament. If you don’t have a DUPR rating, you will need to self-rate. The tournament director will be reviewing and may move players to a more appropriate skill level.

• Women’s Doubles Moneyball. Friday, June 6, 2025
• Mixed Doubles Moneyball. Saturday, June 7, 2025
• Men’s Doubles Moneyball. Sunday, June 8, 2025
Event Costs: $75 ($25 for event and $50 for purse)

• Payout price:
• 1st—50% of collected purse + $200 tournament donation to the team.
• 2nd-30% of collected purse +$100 tournament donation to the team.
• 3rd-15% of collected purse + 50 tournament donation to the team.
• 4th-5% of collected purse +$25 tournament donation to the team.
We must have 8 teams to run the event. If we have less than 8 teams we will transfer registration to a 5.0 medal only event and you will receive a $50 refund. That decision will be made by April 14. You must have a minimum of a 4.0 rating to play in the Moneyball events.
The Moneyball format will be a small round robin format for seeding followed by single elimination with games to 15 until medal rounds. DUPR will be used for seeding round robin format and round robin will be used to seed single elimination.

Sunday, June 8, 2025: Mens Doubles (under 50) and Womens Singles (all ages) Mens Doubles Moneyball
REGISTRATION:
You may register for one event per day for a total of 4 events for the Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship.
The Tournament Director reserves the right to adjust brackets and format as needed.
1) Brackets for ages 12-64 will be combined by SKILL level.
2) Brackets for ages 65 and over will be combined by AGE level.
3) Medals will be awarded in each bracket.

Pickleball Brackets: $5 for 1st event and $10 for 2 or more events
YOUR REGISTRATION IS NOT COMPLETE UNTIL YOU HAVE FULLY PAID, WAIVER SIGNED AND PARTNER REGISTERED AND PAID. IF YOU ARE NOT FULLY PAID WHEN THE EVENT FILLS, YOU WILL BE MOVED TO THE WAIT LIST. Your partner has 4 days to register and pay from the time you pay or your partner will be automatically moved to the wait list.
We expect a high volume of players for this tournament. We will have a maximum number of teams per event and per day. We highly recommend signing up for the waitlist if registration for your group is full. We will move teams off the waitlist into events as space becomes available.
Start times will be posted several days prior to the tournament start date.
PARTNER REPLACEMENT POLICY
After registration is closed, any registered player losing a partner must replace that partner with an already registered player. The replacement partner must be in the same skill/age group that you are scheduled to play. Players can play down in age and up in skill. Replacements needs to communicate to the registration desk 2 days before you are scheduled to play. Replacements can be found on the players needing partners list.
CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP
Cranberry Township is one of the fastest growing communities in Western PA. A progressive and well managed community that puts value into quality of life with its three large parks and municipal golf course. Altogether, Cranberry has over 700 acres in their park system. Cranberry Township Pickleball Association (CTPA) is run by volunteers in partnership with the Cranberry Township Parks & Rec department. Now in its 7th year of operation, CTPA has 1500 members. CTPA is responsible for the maintenance and expansion of the pickleball complex and will have 30 courts. All net proceeds from the tournament go back to CTPA's expansion efforts and to promote pickleball and expand our tournament capabilities. We hope you enjoy your visit with us.

Rules you need to know in advance.
• No campers, tents, or cars overnight in the park. Police patrols hourly.
• Park closes at 10 PM
• No Pets (This is strictly enforced!)
• No alcohol
• Police will ticket your vehicle if it is not parked correctly.
• No smoking or vaping other than parking lots.
Facilities:
• Rest room facilities right on site
• Water fountains
• Water bottle refilling fountain.
• Tents can be put up only in grass areas and 10 ft away from the parking lot and sidewalks. No tents or chairs on parking lot. Tents must be taken down daily.
• Food truck & concessions will be available at your expense.
• No chairs can be placed on the sidewalk, courts or plaza area or parking lot. Lawn chairs only on grass and 3 ft from a sidewalk.

From Route 19 to Rochester Road. Go about 0.9 miles and at the traffic light make a right on Graham Park Road. Continue about ¼ miles until you see the courts on your right. Go pass the courts and if you are playing that day and have a parking pass make a right into the parking lot. Attendants will verify you are playing and let you in.

No refunds for any reason after the CANCELLATION DEADLINE ABOVE unless the Registration & Weather Insurance Policy has been purchased prior to the CANCELLATION DEADLINE ABOVE. You must purchase the Registration & Weather Insurance at the time of registration. You will not have that option later.
REGISTRATION & WEATHER INSURANCE POLICY: (see exact policy in weather info section)
If you withdraw before the CANCELLATION DEADLINE ABOVE, you will be issued a full refund (with a $25 processing fee deducted) without the need to purchase Registration & Weather Insurance. (refund will be issued after the tournament.
During registration you may choose to purchase the Registration and Weather Insurance Policy (attached) in the event you have to cancel out of the event after the CANCELLATION DEADLINE ABOVE. As an outdoor event there are no refund for weather delays or cancellations. See the policy for specific coverage details. The insurance will also cover your event fee in case your event is cancelled due to weather without a make-up day option.

Waiver: Release, Permission, and Indemnity
Please Note: By signing up online and by paying your fee to
participate in this tournament, you are agreeing to this Release,
Permission and Indemnity.
In consideration of being permitted to participate in any way in the
CTPA Cranberry Twp Pickleball Association Tournament (“the Event”),
I, for myself, my heirs or assigns, hereby release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue
the CTPA as well as:
Cranberry Township Pickleball Association, USA Pickleball, North Mid-Atlantic Region,
Cranberry Township, their officers, employees and agents from liability from any and all
claims resulting in personal injuries, death, accidents, illnesses (such as communicable diseases
including COVID-19), and property loss arising from, but not limited to, participation in the
event.
Assumption of Risk. Participation in the Event carries with it certain inherent risks that cannot
be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid injuries. The specific risks vary but include 1)
minor injuries such as bruises, sprains, and dehydration, 2) major injuries such as eye injuries,
joint or back injuries, heat stroke, heart attacks, and concussions, and 3) catastrophic injuries
such as paralysis and death 4) tripping, falling over signage, cabling and other temporary or
permanent structure being used for this event. I have read the previous paragraphs and I
know, understand, and appreciate these and other risks that are inherent in playing
pickleball. I assert that my participation is voluntary and that I knowingly assume all such
risks by registering and paying for this event.
Indemnification and Hold Harmless. I also agree to indemnify and hold the CTPA &
Cranberry Township, sponsors and , their officers, employees, volunteers and agents harmless
from any and all claims, actions, suits, costs, expenses, damages and liabilities, including
attorney’s fees brought as a result of my involvement in the Event.
Use Permission. I also give the CTPA and its agents and designees permission to use or
distribute, without limitation or obligation, my image, name, voice, and words for any purpose
connected with the Event, including promotional, marketing, training, informational, and
archival uses.
I certify and agree to comply with all federal, state and local guidelines, requirements and
safeguards related to pandemic (“Pandemic”) that apply to me, including, but not limited to,
handwashing, remaining home when sick or living with someone sick, social-distancing, and
wearing personal protective equipment, such as face masks if mandated.
I am duly aware of the risks and hazards inherent upon engaging in or participating in activities
at tournaments, and I hereby elect to voluntarily enter this tournament, and to engage in or
participate in activities at the tournament knowing that said activities or participation may be
hazardous and has risks. The Undersigned expressly and voluntarily agrees to assume all risk of
loss, damage or injury, that may be sustained as a result of such participation and activities at this
tournament.
I hereby grant the Cranberry Township Pickleball Association , Cranberry Township, sponsors of
the event, , their officers, employees and agents the absolute and irrevocable right and
unrestricted permission to use my video or photo for marketing purposes, TV, print, website.
In consideration for permitting me to engage in or participate in activities at the Regionals, I
agree for myself, executors, administrators, heirs, successors, and assigns as follows:
