Following a Pickleball Canada directive, a team of the same skill level may play up two skill levels in doubles events. For example, a team with both players at the 3.5 level may register for 3.5, 4.0 or 4.5. However, a team with one player 3.5 and the other 4.0 can play at 4.0 or 4.5.
ELIGIBILITY TO ENTER AN EVENT
Age: An older player may play in a younger age group. A younger player may not play in an older age group. No player may play down from their skill level. Age is determined as of December 31, 2025.
SKILL LEVEL
The skill level of players is determined by the data in their Pickleball Brackets profile at the time of registration. The priority for determining a player's skill level is their Canadian Tournament Player Rating (CTPR). If that is lacking then their DUPR profile tournament rating, and if that is lacking their Pickleball Brackets self-rating for that event.

REGISTERING FOR AN EVENT
The skill level of players is determined by the data in their Pickleball Brackets profile. The priority for determining a player's skill level is their Canadian Tournament Player Rating (CTPR). This is a Pickleball Canada-sanctioned tournament. All registrants MUST have a valid Pickleball Canada membership to play in this tournament. NOTE: Please ensure your Pickleball Canada membership number and skill level are up to date in your Pickleball Brackets profile before registering for this tournament. If you are not a Pickleball Canada member, you can become a member at https://pickleballcanada.org/
Registration is online only at https://pickleballbrackets.com/. Online payment via Stripe. Stripe accepts credit card payments. When the maximum per event is reached based on fully registered/paid teams, others will be added to the waitlist.
Enter as a TEAM and make sure your partner registers and pays within 3 days of you registering. If a partner has not completed his/her registration within 3 days of the first partner registering, the team will be moved to the waitlist. When the identified partner registers, and pays, the team will be moved from the waitlist back to the active list ONLY if a slot is available. Confirm with your partner BEFORE registration to avoid disappointment. If you do not have a partner you can click on “Players Needing a Partner” to possibly find one. The tournament committee does not find partners for players.
All players must complete their registration by June 25, 2025, at 8:00 p.m., to remain on the Active List. COMPLETE means, BOTH partners have agreed to the PCO waiver, and paid registration fees IN FULL.
