Mighty Peace: Paddle Battle Pickleball Tournament

Friday April 11 2025 - Sunday April 13 2025

The Mighty Peace Pickleball Club is pleased to invite you to our 1st Paddle Battle Tournament April 11-13 2025 at the Baytex Energy Center in Peace River, Alberta! We planned the tournament categories to be set up including Mens and Ladies doubles and Mixed Doubles, with age categories (depending on the number of registrations). Events will include age categories from 10-49,50-59 and 60+ with skill level competitions 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5+ . Should both players choose to, they may play up ONLY a 0.5 rating level from their current CTPR. IF YOUR DUPR RATING MEETS THE REQUIRED LEVEL YOU MAY PLAY UP MORE THAN .5.

04/11/25 - Men's Doubles

04/12/25 - Mixed Doubles

04/13/25 - Women’s Doubles

The registration fee is $70 which includes one event, additional event is $30. Registration opens December 10, 2024 at 7PM. A registration is considered complete when the team information is complete and paid in full. Both players must register within 7 days of the first player's registration, or the team will be moved to the waitlist.

Format:

All events will offer a Round Robin pool-play format. If there are not enough teams for pool play, then a single round-robin bracket will be played.

The top-four teams from each pool or Top 4 for single round-robin bracket will move forward to the next round. If there are 3 pools the top 2 from each pool will advance with the 7 & 8 spots decided by tiebreak.

All pool-play matches, as well as all pre-medal matches, will be one game to 15, win by 2 points. The Gold medal matches will be best two-out-of-three games, Games to 11 won by two points.

This is a non-sanctioned tournament with our goal to have referees for all Medal matches.

Skill levels are 3.0 to 4.5+

We reserve the right to refuse service at any time.

For a CONFIRMED spot in an event, both partners must be registered as a team and paid. Players without partners or whose partners have not registered and paid within 7 days of their signup, will be moved to the waiting list. Once their partner signs up, they will be moved back into the event - IF THERE ARE SPOTS REMAINING IN THE BRACKET AND THE TOURNAMENT.

CANCELLATIONS

Withdrawals from the tournament before April 4, 2025, will receive a refund

minus a $25 cancellation fee.

No refunds or credits for any reason after April 4, 2025.

This event is an Indoor event. Barring power outage or unforeseen circumstances matches will proceed as planned.
