Tournament Description
Milton Charity Cup Pickleball Tournament
In support of Milton District Hospital Foundation
Join us for an exciting day on Oct 12th of pickleball action at the Milton Charity Cup, all for a great cause! With 9 indoor courts, this tournament promises competitive play for all levels, along with a fun, welcoming atmosphere for everyone. Get ready for a memorable day filled with camaraderie, thrilling matches, and an opportunity to support the Milton District Hospital Foundation.
Early Bird Registration:
Fee: $45 (until September 28th)
Regular Fee: $65 (starting September 29th)
$15 per event and you can play up to 2 events (one at the 2:00 PM and a second at the 4:30 PM)
Medals and Divisions:
Medals will be awarded to the top 3 teams in each division.
Divisions are organized by skill level (3.5 and over or 3.5 and under) for Mixed Doubles, Men's Doubles, and Women's Doubles.
Each team is guaranteed at least 3 games per event.
In case of merging, splitting, or cancelling events, participants will be contacted.
Games will be played on professional indoor surfaces.

2:00 PM Mixed Doubles 3.5 & Under, Women's Doubles 3.5 & Over, Men's Double's 3.5 & Over
4:30 Mixed Doubles 3.5 & Over, Women's Doubles 3.5 & Under, Men's Double's 3.5 & Under
Registration Details:
Your spot is not guaranteed in your event until both partners are registered and paid in full. You and your partner have 5 days to register before being put on the wait-list. Once the second partner registers, they will be moved back into the event if there are spots left in the tournament and event. Maximum of 8 teams per division. Spots fill up quickly, so sign up TODAY!
The tournament director reserves the right to move players between skill levels to ensure competitive balance.
Tournament Format:
We will aim to provide the maximum number of games for each team by combining or splitting events as needed. Example formats:
6 Teams: Round-robin pool of 6 teams, 5 games to 11 (win by 2), top 4 qualify for knockout semifinals.
8 Teams (preferred): 2 pools of 4 teams, seeding round-robin (3 games to 11, win by 2), top 4 teams qualify for knockout quarterfinals.
Each team is guaranteed minimum of 3 games. All games will be win by 2.

IMPORTANT!
On your player profile, make sure you have 'receive in game text messages' checked to 'YES; and Cell Carrier should be selected. This is how you will receive your game notifications and court assignments. Please keep your phone close to you and be aware of getting a TEXT for your next matches and results. Failure to show up to the match will result in a default. Please ensure you arrive 30 minutes prior to your event to sign in and warm up.

Refund Policy
Refund Policy for Milton Charity Cup Pickleball Tournament
Please note that all tournament registrations are non-refundable. Once registration fees are paid, they cannot be refunded for any reason, including injury, illness, or changes in personal circumstances.
However, we do allow replacement players. If you are unable to participate, you may transfer your registration to another player. Please notify the tournament organizers in writing with the name and contact details of your replacement at least 48 hours before the tournament starts.

Hydration and Breaks: Players are encouraged to stay hydrated and take regular breaks. Water stations will be available on-site.
First Aid: A first aid station will be accessible for any medical needs or emergencies during the event.
Illness: If you are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms of illness, please refrain from attending the event. Hand sanitizers will be placed around the venue, and we encourage regular handwashing.
Court Safety: Proper footwear is required to prevent slips and falls. Please be cautious of your surroundings and respect court boundaries.
Spectators: For the safety of all, spectators are required to sit on the designated bleachers and avoid standing in court areas to ensure clear sightlines and prevent accidents.
