LIFE TIME MISSOURI CITY – DUPR 16 MLP-STYLE TEAM TOURNAMENT
Life Time Missouri City is excited to host a DUPR 16 MLP-Style Team Tournament!
Teams will consist of 4 players — 2 men and 2 women — competing in the exciting MLP Pickleball-style format featuring Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles, and a DreamBreaker if needed.
REGISTRATION
Team Requirements:
Each team must consist of 2 men and 2 women.
The team's combined DUPR may not exceed 16.499.
No individual player may have a DUPR higher than 4.900.
Players who would like to participate but do not have a complete team may contact mzafar@lt.life to be considered for placement on a team.
Complete teams must submit their team roster to mzafar@lt.life for approval.
Once the roster has been approved, players will be instructed on how to complete their registration through Pickleball Brackets.
DUPR RATINGS
DUPR will be used to verify player and team eligibility.
DUPR 16 Division
Maximum Team DUPR: 16.499
Maximum Individual Player DUPR: 4.999
Team Composition: 2 Men + 2 Women
The combined DUPR of all four players may not exceed 16.499, and no individual player may have a DUPR above 4.999.
The Tournament Director reserves the right to review all player ratings and determine eligibility prior to the event.
DUPR ratings at the time the team roster is submitted for approval will be used to determine eligibility. Subsequent rating fluctuations will not affect an approved team's entry.
Self-entered matches may be disregarded when reviewing eligibility if the Tournament Director determines that they do not accurately reflect a player's competitive rating or were entered in an attempt to artificially lower a player's DUPR.
All eligible tournament results will be submitted to DUPR.
MLP-STYLE FORMAT
Each team match will consist of:
Men’s Doubles
Women’s Doubles
Mixed Doubles
Mixed Doubles
DreamBreaker – played only if the team match is tied 2-2
Every player will compete in two doubles games during each team match:
Each man plays in the Men’s Doubles game and one Mixed Doubles game.
Each woman plays in the Women’s Doubles game and one Mixed Doubles game.

Mixed doubles pairings may be determined according to the event lineup procedure.
SCORING
Games will use rally scoring.
Depending on the final number of registered teams, games will be played using one of the following formats:
Rally scoring to 21 with a freeze, or
Rally scoring straight to 25
Each team matchup consists of four doubles games. If the matchup is tied 2-2, the winner will be determined by a DreamBreaker singles tiebreaker.
DREAMBREAKER
If the team match is tied 2-2 after the four doubles games, teams will compete in a DreamBreaker.
All four players participate, rotating through singles according to the tournament's DreamBreaker lineup and rotation rules.
