The Montgomery County (Tx) Pickleball Championships is a Ryder Cup-style competition between six local pickleball groups of southeast Texas. April Sound, Walden, and Bentwater Country Clubs on Lake Conroe, The Woodlands Country Club, High Meadow Ranch of Magnolia, and Navasota Pickleball Group.

This one-day competition will consist of each club bringing three teams of men's and women's doubles to earn points towards the "April Sound Cup" trophy, to be awarded to the top club with the most points earned through standings.

Each first-place team will be awarded five points, second-place team three points, and third-place team one point each, respectively. Teams can bring as many as two groups of teams depending on inventory.

Teams will be coordinated and managed by a "Team Captain" for each respective team along with distributing the registration code for this private event.

Lunch will be provided by April Sound Country Club along with hydration packets and a sponsored swag bag.

No outside food or drink is allowed inside the April Sound Tennis/Pickleball facility with the exceptions of light snacks and water.

Restroom facilities are onsite.

The competition will have 12 courts available from 8 am-11 am and eight covered courts from 8 am - 2 pm.

Refunds will be allowed up to one week prior to the tournament.

With eight covered courts this event will start rain or shine. For rain we will have an adjusted schedule.
