This is a skill event in men's doubles and singles, women's doubles and singles, and mixed doubles with the gold medal winners of the open events earning their names on five beautiful permanent trophies. Men's, women's and mixed doubles 65+ skill events will also be offered. We will also offer a split age co-ed event this year. Medals will be awarded to the gold, silver and bronze winners in the event categories.
This is an MPC closed event. Every registrant must be a current MPC Bronze, Silver or Gold member. The tournament fee is $40.00 until August 10 when the price rises to $50.00.
Registration is through Pickleball Brackets. You will need a code to register. The code is in the MPC Members Only section of our website. You must login with your Pickleball Canada username and password to access this section of our website.
Your spot in the tournament is not guaranteed until both partners are fully paid and registered. You can enter individually and indicate you need a partner.
Saturday August 22 - Men's and Women's Doubles + Open Singles
Sunday August 23 - Mixed Doubles and Co-Ed Split Age
NOTE: You may sign up for a maximum of 3 events - Singles, Doubles and one of either Mixed Doubles or the Co-Ed Split Age. The Tournament software charges a user fee for the first two registrations.
Novice - 2.0 to 2.499 (Under 2.499)
Novice - Intermediate 2.5 to 2.999 (Under 2.999)
Intermediate - Advanced - 3.0 to 3.499 (Under 3.499)
Advanced - 3.5 to 3.999 (Under 3.999)
Open - 4.0 and above.
The results from this tournament will be added to the player's DUPR.
The tournament will be using a round robin format with single elimination medal round. The Tournament Director reserves the right to assess and reassign participants into the proper skill levels. Events may be cancelled, collapsed or combined due to insufficient entries.
