The Michiana Pickleball Club Members Only Championships are designed to be FUN, tournament-style events for the MPC family! Of course, the competition will be fierce and we will award medals and bragging rights to the winners of each division. However, we will not report the results to DUPR. So...NO pressure...just a great time with friends!
--- EXCITING NEWS!!! ---
***We now have a sponsor for our Party in the Park so MPC has decided to make this a free event! MPC will pay the $5 per event Pickleball.com fee, so when you check out, you will not be charged the fee. If you are bringing a guest to the party, you will pay the $5 guest fee at the event when you check in. (Note that players who registered prior to this change will receive a refund.)
*** We have added four Mixed divisions, in addition to our existing Men's and Women's divisions.
Divisions will be by rating and each rating level will be split into under 60 and 60+ age groups. Divisions will be limited to 5 teams each. After a division has reached the limit, teams will be placed on a wait list. The Tournament Director may increase the limit depending on the number of registrations in other divisions. The TD also reserves the right to combine or split divisions, based on registration numbers.
If your designated partner has not registered within 7 days, you will be moved to the wait list. If you register needing a partner and have not found a partner within 7 days, you will be moved to the wait list. As soon as your partner registers, you will be moved off the wait list IF the division has not reached the 5 team limit.
Your Michiana Pickleball Club rating from Pickleball.com will be used to determine which events are applicable during registration. If you do not have an MPC rating, your Pickleball.com self-rating will be used. Throughout registration, we will confirm that players appear to be in the appropriate rating divisions by referring to DUPR. We will reach out to players with significant discrepancies, if the DUPR has a fairly high Reliability Score.
Each division will use a round robin format, one game to 15 (win by 2).
