The MTP December Dinkfest will be held from Saturday, December14 to Sunday, December 15, 2024, at the More Than Pickleball (MTP) in Buford, GA. More Than Pickleball is an air-conditioned 9-court indoor pickleball facility with cushioned courts.

Tentative brackets will be as follows:

Saturday, December 14

Men’s and Women’s Doubles all skill levels, All Mixed Doubles

Sunday, December 15

All Singles and Moneyball

** $600 Moneyball OPEN Bracket starts at 4:00 PM on Sunday, December 15. **

Start time TBA, but can be as early as 8:00AM depending on the number of players on each bracket.

FORMAT: Double Elimination OR Round Robin followed by single elimination medal round. After registrations are finalized, more detailed format and start times will be posted. Large brackets and Singles bracket may have single elimination format.

Brackets may be cancelled or limited in size based on registration numbers. The Tournament Director may modify the competition format in the event of low numbers or other unforeseen delays and circumstances.

Event Registration Policy

IMPORTANT!: Tournament Director may move your team to another bracket (lower or higher skill levels) based on your ratings, our knowledge, and for any other reasons. No refund will be allowed in case you are moved to a different bracket.

Online payment via Pickleball Brackets. Early-bird discount ends on 11/30.

Registration is not complete until BOTH partners have registered, agreed to the tournament waiver, and paid all fees owing. Discount codes are for the MTP Members ONLY and will be verified (Active MTP membership is required on the day of matches). Registration is limited in each event.

Singles brackets and Moneyball have additional fees ($10-15) due to the prize money and court usage.

Competition courts will only be available for warm up 30-min prior to the start of the events each day. After the tournament has started, warm ups are restricted to the narrow warm-up court near the Front Desk. This helps us stay on schedule. Plan to arrive at the venue 45 - 60 minutes prior to the start of your event to allow time for check-in, warm-up and to prepare for your first match.

If there are not enough teams for a bracket, We will combine age divisions first, then skill divisions. Larger brackets, we will do a round robin and the top teams from each pool will move on to a playoff bracket. We reserve the right to combine or split brackets as necessary based on timing and those involved.

Minimum of 3 games and up to 12 games to win medals.

Refunds will be accepted until Tuesday, 12/10/2024 at noon - minus any pickleballbrackets.com service fees. After that date, refunds will not be granted for any reasons.

OPEN Bracket/Moneyball: Winning team of the Open bracket will receive $500 and the second place $100. A minimum of 16 teams are required to guarantee the prize money. Amount will be reduced if the bracket has less than 16 teams.
