<p> Slated to be one of New Jersey’s premier indoor pickleball events of the winter season, the <strong>New Jersey Winter Classic</strong> features high-level competition and community celebration in a state-of-the-art indoor facility with 14 courts, pro-level lighting, and permanent fencing.</p>
<h2><b>Event Overview</b></h2>
<p>The tournament includes men’s and women’s doubles, mixed doubles, and men’s and women’s singles, with divisions organized by both <strong>skill level and age</strong>, ranging from <strong>2.5 to 5.0+</strong>.</p>
<p>Prize money will be split across the Open divisions.</p>
<h2><b>Format</b></h2>
<p><strong>6-game guarantee</strong> for all participants.</p>
<li><strong>Doubles:</strong> Single-game round-robin matches played to 11, win by 2, followed by bracket play</li> <li><strong>Singles:</strong> Rally scoring to 21, win by 2</li> <li>Round-robin play featuring multiple opponents and play styles</li> <li>Earn your path to medals through competitive, seeded matchups</li>

<strong><b>Here’s what you can expect from our tournament:</b><strong>
<li><strong>Round Robin Play:</strong> Most brackets are run as Round Robin, followed by a single-elimination playoff for the top teams.</li>
<li><strong>Players Enter Scores:</strong> We use PickleballTournaments.com’s new feature that allows players to enter scores on their phones, helping brackets run efficiently.</li>
<li><strong>Player Hospitality:</strong> Enjoy complimentary snacks, fruit, and water in our well-stocked hospitality tent, available to all players.</li>
<li><strong>Convenient Payment Options:</strong> We accept Zelle and credit card payments for easy registration.</li>
<li><strong>Food Options:</strong> A variety of food vendors will be available for players and spectators to enjoy.</li>
<li><strong>Results Tracking:</strong> Tournament results will be immediately submitted to DUPR.</li>

<p>Final start times will be announced <strong>48 hours before the event</strong>. Start times may be adjusted due to unforeseen circumstances.</p>
<h2><b>Divisions</b></h2>
<p>All registrations are sorted by age and skill level. Divisions with fewer than four participants may be combined.</p> <ul><li>Age groups within the same skill level will be combined first</li><li>If necessary, adjacent skill levels may also be combined</li></ul>
