Welcome to the New Jersey Winter Classic. Slated to be one of New Jersey’s premier indoor pickleball events of the winter season, this tournament features high-level competition and community celebration in a state-of-the-art indoor setting with 14 courts, pro level lighting and permanent fencing.
The New Jersey Winter Classic will include men’s and women’s doubles, mixed doubles, and men’s and women’s singles, with skill levels ranging from 2.5 to 5.0+. Prize money will be split across the Open divisions.
This event is open to all players from 2.5-5.0 with events broken down by skill level first and then age division dependent on the total number of teams/players registered within each skill level of play.
Formatting includes round-robin play with brackets to follow with the majority of players competing in games during this event. Any bracket with fewer than four teams may be combined with another bracket of the same skill level.

Schedule – formatting will typically have Doubles (8am+) on Saturday, Mixed Doubles (8am+) on Sunday, Singles in the afternoon on either day
Format – single game round-robin matches played to 15, win by 2, for doubles followed by brackets; singles matches will include scoring to 21, win by 2.
Divisions - to simplify registration, all registrations will be sorted by skill level during the registration process and by age. Divisions will be combined if less than 4 participants in a division
