The Pickleball Village is hosting again - and this time with prize money!!!
Welcome to the First Annual Newmarket Autumn Cup hosted by The Pickleball Village!
This exciting three-day tournament runs November 21-23 at our top-tier indoor facility in Newmarket. With six brand new dedicated pickleball courts, air conditioning, permanent nets, a high ceiling, bathrooms, change rooms, and a social/viewing area, you’ll be playing in one of the best new indoor pickleball environments in Ontario.
Registration is $50 and includes one event, with additional events available for $15 each. Please note that our registration platform (pickleballtournaments.com) adds a small service fee of $5 USD per event, capped at $10 USD total (around $14 CAD). This fee goes directly to the platform, not us, and we have no control over it. Your spot in each event is only confirmed once both partners are fully registered and paid. Teams where one partner has not registered will be moved to the waiting list after 7 days of the first partner's registration.
This tournament welcomes players in Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed Doubles, with divisions for both 19+ and 50+ age groups and skill levels 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5.
We will use DUPR as our rating system, so an account must be created before registration.
All results will be submitted to DUPR, so make sure your DUPR ID is linked to your pickleball.com profile.
Here’s what’s happening each day:
Friday, November 21 – Men’s & Women’s Doubles (50+)
Saturday, November 22 – Mixed Doubles (All Ages)
Sunday, November 23 – Men’s & Women’s Doubles (19+)
Each division will be capped at 8 teams, competing in two round-robin pools of four. The top two teams from each pool will advance to semifinals, followed by bronze and gold medal matches. You’ll be guaranteed at least three games, with most matches played to 15, win by 2.
Gold medal matches will be best 2 of 3 to 11, win by 2, and will be officiated. All other matches are self-officiated unless an issue arises.
It is your responsibility to make sure your paddle is on the USAP approved paddle list.
We’ll have snacks on-site and medals for gold, silver, and bronze finishers — plus, we’re actively exploring local sponsorships and food options to make the weekend even better.
