Welcome to the inaugural Niagara-on-the-Lake Classic Pickleball Tournament, June 9 - 11, 2023.

The organizing committee looks forward to welcoming all participants.

Competitors may enter up to 2 events:

• Men's or Women's Doubles in ONE skill/age category, and/or

• Mixed Doubles in ONE skill/age category

CATEGORIES

(Simplified to avoid merging and dividing)

AGE: Under 50, 50 - 64, 65 and over, as of December 31, 2023

SKILL: 2.5-2.99, 3.0 -3.49, 3.5 - 3.99

Players without a rating can self-rate and enter the skill level of their choice.

FRIDAY June 9, 2023,

6:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Join us in the wine garden in the Meridian Arena

7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Professional Exhibition

Meridian Arena, 1567 Four Mile Creek Rd, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON L0S 1J0

• Eight professional players will compete in a team format for a $2000 prize.

• Cost: Included in player registration fee.

• Additional tickets: $10 per person (children under 12 free), e-transfer to classic@notlpickleball.ca

• Wine and Beer Garden

• Pickup tickets at the event.

SATURDAY June 10, 2023, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm, Men's and Women's Doubles

Meridian and Centennial Arenas, 1567 Four Mile Creek Rd, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON L0S 1J0

• Players scheduled for Saturday MUST check-in at the Welcome Desk a minimum of 30 minutes before the start of their category.

• Welcome Desk opens at 7:00 am.

• Matches start at 8:00 am

• It is expected that all matches will be concluded before 6:00 pm so players and their guests can attend the evening social.

SATURDAY SOCIAL EVENT: 6:00 pm -10:00 pm, Dinner

Niagara-on-the-Lake Community Centre, 14 Anderson Ln, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON L0S 1J0

•Happy Hour at 6:00 pm • Dinner at 7:00 pm.

• Cost $55 per person

• Tickets MUST be purchased in advance by sending an e-transfer to classic@notlpickleball.ca by June 1.

SUNDAY June 11, 2023, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, Mixed Doubles

Meridian and Centennial Arenas, 1567 Four Mile Creek Rd, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON L0S 1J0

• Players scheduled for Sunday MUST check-in at the Welcome Desk a minimum of 30 minutes before the start of their category.

• Welcome Desk opens at 7:30am.

• Matches start at 8:00 am.

Categories will run as combined round robin and elimination events.

Facilities include:

• Double arena with 12 courts - cement floor

• Water refill stations

• Numerous change rooms and washrooms

• Canteen with healthy snacks, juices and electrolyte replacement drinks

• Seating for 500 spectators

• Air-conditioned foyer

• Digital sound system

Before registration closes, May 22 - Refund minus $15 administration fee.

After close of registration - NO REFUND.
