This event will give out 3 bids to The Nationals in April, and $6000 spread across 1st-8th place and the challenger bracket winners! In addition, we will have a livestream for the team bracket semifinals and finals!
TEAM BRACKET FORMAT
In the team bracket, schools will bring teams of 4-6 players to compete for scholarship money and a bid to The Nationals!
– Each team will have 2-3 men and 2-3 women players
– Teams will play Women’s, Men’s, and 2 Mixed Doubles games against each other to determine a winner. A Dreambreaker will be played if there is a 2-2 tie after the doubles games
– Teams will play at least 3 group play games (all against schools other than their own), and then the best performing teams from group play will advance to the single elimination playoffs. Groups are sorted so there is an even amount of DUPR in each group.
– Teams that didn’t make the 1st playoff bracket will be put into 2nd, 3rd, etc. playoff brackets of 8 teams each for consolation matches on Sunday.
CHALLENGER BRACKET FORMAT
In the challenger bracket , colleges will bring doubles teams of players that aren't in the team bracket.
- Challenger bracket partners must be from the same college
– Group play on Saturday, followed by playoffs on Sunday
– Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed teams will all compete against each other unless there are enough registration to separate a group
