All UTPR ratings will be updated prior to creating the final brackets/schedule to ensure accurate brackets. Please make sure your rating is correct. If you self-rated, you will be put into the bracket indicated in your profile.

We do not use DUPR ratings as we have no easy way to cross-reference registered players with possible DUPR ratings.

Brackets with 4 or more teams could take 4-6 hours to complete, please plan accordingly

All games 1 to 15, win by 2

Top 2 teams advanced to Gold Medal match, 2/3 to 11 win by 2

3rd place team automatically receives Bronze medal

Double Round-Robin

All games 1 to 15, win by 2

All 4 teams advance into playoff semifinals (1v4, 2v3), 1 to 15 win by 2

Semifinal losers play in Bronze Medal match, 1 to 15 win by 2

Semifinal winners play in Gold Medal match, 2/3 to 11 win by 2

5-7 teams/players

Single Round-Robin

All games 1 to 15, win by 2

Top 4 teams advance into playoff semifinals (1v4, 2v3), 1 to 15, win by 2

Semifinal losers play in Bronze Medal match, 1 to 15 win by 2

Semifinal winners play in Gold Medal match, 2/3 to 11 win by 2

8 teams/players

Teams will be divided into pools of 4 teams each

Single Round-Robin

All pool games 1 to 15, win by 2

Top 2 teams from each pool advance to playoff semifinals (1v2 from opposite pools), 1 to 15 win by 2

Semifinal losers play in Bronze Medal match, 1 to 15 win by 2

Semifinal winners play in Gold Medal match, 2/3 to 11 win by 2

9+ teams/players (12 is MAX)

Teams will be divided into pools of equal number of teams (if possible)

Single Round-Robin

All pool games 1 to 15, win by 2

Top 2 teams from each pool advance to playoff semifinals (1v2 from opposite pools), 1 to 15 win by 2

Semifnal losers play in Bronze Medal match, 1 to 15 win by 2

Semifinal winners play in Gold Medal match, 2/3 to 11 win by 2

If a bracket is unable to finish due to weather and enough matches have been played to determine placements, we will use approved USAPA rules to determine placements.

National Pickleball events are outdoor events. If weather or any other unforeseen circumstance occurs, National Pickleball will do all it can to play matches. If brackets are in mid-play when a weather or unforeseen circumstance occurs, the situation will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis to determine if the bracket may be finished or if winners may be determined. If we are able to start your event (even if we do not finish it), a refund will not be given. If we are unable to start your event, you will receive a refund for that event (ie. you will only be refunded the event fee(s) - not your full registration fee).
