All Events are Round Robin w/Playoffs. In NVZ Tournaments, all teams will move on to a single elimination bracket round.

Saturday Schedule:

8:00 AM: Men's Doubles 3.0 (19+/50+), 3.5 (19+/50+), Women's Doubles 3.0 (19+/50+), 3.5 (19+/50+)

5:00 PM: Men's Doubles 4.0, 4.5, Women's Doubles 4.0, Mixed Doubles Open - $2,000 Moneyball

Sunday Schedule:

8:00 AM: Mixed Doubles 3.0 (19+/50+), 3.5 (19+/50+), 4.0 (19+), 4.5 (19+)

Tournament Policy on DUPR Ratings for Divisions:

1. DUPR Rating Requirement:

- Teams must ensure that their individual DUPR rating falls within the skill level range of the division they are competing in.

- For instance, if player 1 holds a DUPR rating of 2.6 and player 2's rating is 3.7, this team is eligible to compete in divisions rated 3.5 or higher.

- In cases where a player possesses a provisional rating (denoted with an "*"), the tournament organizers will scrutinize the games played and liaise with the team if they are deemed to be in the incorrect division.

2. Rating Guidelines for Teams:

-Only Doubles ratings will be considered as the tournament is doubles format only.

- Teams consisting of players without a rating are encouraged to sign up for the division they believe best suits their skill level.

- For any queries or clarifications, teams are advised to contact the tournament directors via email.

- If one player lacks a rating while the other possesses one, the team's rating will be determined based on the player with a rating.

3. Division Skill Level Ranges:

- Division 3.0-3.5 (Skill levels 1.0-3.49)

- Division 3.5-4.0 (Skill levels 1.0-3.99)

- Divisions 4.0-5.0 (Skill levels 1.0-4.99)

- Division 5.0+ (Open Skill Levels- Recommended Skill Level Listed Below in Prize Money Descriptions)

Payment and Partner Policy:

To secure confirmation, players are required to complete their payment and have both a registered and paid partner. In the absence of payment or a registered/paid partner, players may be moved to a wait list if the division for which a spot is being held becomes fully subscribed by fully registered and paid teams.

Partner Replacement Guidelines:

Following the closure of registration, players who find themselves without a partner have the option to replace their original partner with either a registered or non-registered player. The replacement partner must belong to the same skill and age group in which you are scheduled to compete. Players are permitted to play in a lower age category or a higher skill level. Any partner replacements must be identified and communicated to the registration contact no later than 6:00 PM on the day prior to your scheduled play. Please consult the list of players seeking partners to find suitable replacements.

Refund Policy: As of SEPT 2ND, all registration fees for the NVZ SoCal Invitational are non-refundable. In the event that a registered participant is unable to attend, refunds will not be granted. Please note that NVZ reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the tournament due to unforeseen circumstances. Should such a situation arise, registered participants will be promptly informed of any changes and offered alternatives, which may involve transferring their registration to a future event.

Participant Substitution: If a player finds themselves unable to participate after SEPT 2ND, they have the option to substitute their spot with another player who is registered without a partner or is not yet registered. To facilitate this process, please contact us at NVZPickleball@gmail.com.

If you withdraw before the CANCELLATION DEADLINE ABOVE, you will be issued a full refund (minus a $5 processing fee) without the need to purchase Registration Insurance.
