Welcome Picklers to the Battle on the Beach - April 27-28. 2024

This Spring "Battle at the Beach" on Oak Island is one of the Oak Island Friends of Parks Foundations largest fundraisers! This volunteer run tournament is fun, competitive, and takes place at the beach!! What could be better than that!! New and improved for 2024, we have upgraded registration, text alerts, real time tournament bracketing, and much more!!

In addition to what's always exciting competition, our wonderful sponsors will have giveaways, raffles and games of strategy for cash prizes!

The Foundation will have a recovery area with free food and water for players. There are also two restaurants within walking distance of the park, along with a Publix.

Format is round robin.

Brackets of 3 teams: Each match will be one game to 15, win by 1.

Brackets of 4 teams: Each match will be one game to 11, win by 1.

Brackets of 5 or more teams: Round Robin with initial matches used for seeding. Top two teams play for gold. Third and fourth seed play for bronze.

Brackets of 8 or more teams will be split into pools. Pools will play round robin with top two teams from each pool advancing to a single elimination medal round.

Full refunds will be available until April 1, 2024. Please remember this is a fundraiser for the Friends of Parks Foundation 501c3.
