The Ocean Grove Classic starts here.
This one’s been built for a group of players who have quietly become one of the biggest drivers of the game.
Pickleball hasn’t just grown because of the new and the young.
It’s grown because of players who keep showing up, competing hard, and still wanting a proper hit.
And if we’re being honest…
As the sport’s grown, we’ve all seen it.
A 60 year old up against a 70 year old.
On paper, it looks fine.
On court… not always the same story.
That ten year gap hits differently depending on who’s standing across the net.
And when that’s not taken into account, the player experience just… doesn’t quite land.
No one’s asking for it to be easier.
Just fair.
We think it should be done properly.
So this has been built with care, with intention, and yes… with a bit of HeadHoncho oversight.
Tighter age brackets.
Structured formats.
A pace that actually makes sense.
So when you step on court, you’re not adjusting to the format.
The format finally adjusts to you.
