Check this out, we're breaking the mold and creating a new cool format that guarantees 3 games and it looks like this:
Round 1: 16 teams (Best 3/5 to 11, win by 2)
Round 2: 8 teams (Best 2/3 to 11, win by 2)
Round 3: 4 teams (Best 2/3 to 11, win by 2)
Round 4: Final Mach (Best 3/5 to 11, tiebreaker, if needed, goes to 15, win by 2)
Brackets will be based on combined DUPR rating as of 7 days prior to event.
Because we have 4 indoor courts, Round 1 will be split into Round 1-A, and Round 1-B. There will be a 60-90 minutes gap between round 1A and 1B. That's a great time for 1A to go grab dinner and come back for the next round if you win.
Sample Start Times (subject to be moved)
Round 1A - 4pm start
Round 1B -5:30pm start
Round 2 - 7pm start
Round 3 - 8pm start
FOR THE MONEY ROUND - 9pm start
Co-ed tournament so put whatever team together you like. Verified DUPR event 5.5 or lower.
Competition courts will only be available for warm up 20-min prior to the start time. Plan to arrive at the venue 30 minutes prior to the start of your event to allow time for check-in, warm-up and to prepare for your first match.
