Held at Ontario Pickleball Academy Hamilton a premier, state-of-the-art facility featuring 7 professional-grade courts, championship surfaces, and a setting built for top-tier play.
The Steel Cup Invitational brings together high-level competition, elite players, and an unmatched atmosphere.
TOURNAMENT OVERVIEW
This is a skill and age-based tournament featuring:
Age Divisions: 15+ and 50+ combined with Skill Levels: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5/5.0, and Open
Play up to a total of 4 events
Capacity is limited, with a maximum of 8 teams per division (excluding prize money events).
Spots will fill quickly — early registration is strongly encouraged.
Important Notes:
Your spot is confirmed only once both partners are registered and paid in full
Teams have 4 days to complete registration before being moved to the waitlist
Tournament Directors reserve the right to combine divisions or adjust formats based on registration numbers
EVENT SCHEDULE
Thursday, June 25: 50+ Men’s and Women’s Skill Events
Friday, June 26 – Split Age Events teams must consist of either:
One player aged 50+, or One player aged 49 and under
Players may compete in up to two events on this day (one gender doubles and one mixed doubles)
Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed Doubles will have 3.0,3.5,4.0, 4.5/5.0 divisions
All participants must have a DUPR account to compete.
Scores will be officially submitted.

Tournament Directors reserve the right to move teams into the appropriate division
FORMAT AND RULES
All divisions will begin with round robin pool play, with top teams advancing to playoffs to determine medal winners / Each team is guaranteed a minimum of three matches.
Match Format: Games to 15, win by 2 / Bronze medal match: 1 game to 15 / Gold medal match: Best 2 out of 3 games to 11
Prize Money Divisions: Double elimination format
We will be following USAPA rules, with all medal matches refereed.
