Welcome to the 2023 Opelika Pickleball Club Members Tournament.

Registration is through Pickleball Brackets. Registration opens September 14 at 8:00 AM and closes October 23, 2023 at 12:00 PM. Registration fee is $26 and may include 3 events.

There will be 5 events, with 4 skill levels and 9 age brackets. Events include women's doubles, men's doubles, mixed doubles, men's skinny singles and women's skinny singles. Skill level for doubles events are 2.5 and below, 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0+. Age brackets are 8+, 18+, 30+, 40+, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+ and 70+.

Skill levels for skinny singles are 3.0 and below and 3.5 and above. Age brackets are 18+ 18+, 35+, 50+, 60+ and 70+.

You may play up in skill and down in age. In addition, for those that are 8-17 years old, you may play up in age to the 18-29 year old bracket. Others can NOT play down in age to the 8-17 age bracket.

Skinny singles will play on Friday, November 3, mixed doubles will play on Saturday, November 4. Men's doubles and women's doubles will play on Sunday, November 5.

If your partner does not register within 3 days following your registration, you will be moved to the waitlist. Once your partner registers, you will be moved back to the active bracket assuming there is still room in the bracket / day.

This is a non-sanctioned event. The tournament will follow the USA Pickleball Rulebook.

When registering online, online waiver signature is used. Players under 18 years of age will need to provide a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. (Waivers will be available at check-in.)

Online payment via Stripe. Stripe allows credit card payments.

The planned format is round robin without medal playoffs. Depending on the number of teams in a bracket, the tournament director reserves the right to adjust the format. Small brackets may be combined, however medals will be awarded for players in all original brackets.

Since there is a 2.5 bracket (which is really designed for new and inexperienced players), the tournament committee reserves the right to move players to a higher skill level. The goal of this members tournament is to have fun and meet people, not to sandbag to win.

The cancellation deadline is October 23, 12:00 PM for a full refund minus $10.00 administrative fee.
