Pace Pickleball is proud to announce the 1st annual Labor Day Classic located in Katy, Texas. Come beat the Texas Heat 💥and plan to spend your Labor Day Indoors, battling for Gold! We have 7 INDOOR permanent pickleball courts, All of the courts will be used for tournament play; 10 minute warm-up will be allowed for 1st match; 3 minute warm-ups for additional matches after the 1st one.

We have the biggest WINNER TAKES ALL Prize $$ 💥around for the Open Division - over $6000 in prize money/medals going to the Gold Medal OPEN winners in 3 divisions (Mens, Womens, Mixed). The Non-Open brackets will be battling for Bad A$$ Medals, Pride, Street Cred, and oh yeah....Pace Pickleball Credit. Gold medal winners will get their event fee back in Pace Credit. This is THE tournament that gives BACK to the players. **

Sunday, September 1 - All Men's Doubles Divisions; Brackets will include:

Monday, September 2 - All Singles Divisions;

Men's and Women's Singles

-18+ age bracket, 3.0; 3.5; 4.0+ skill levels

-All OPEN divisions will start at 3:00 PM

- Format will be Round Robin games 2/3 to 11 for event Brackets up to 5 teams.

-Format will be Round Robin games 1 to 15 for brackets with 6 or 7 teams.

-Brackets with 8-10 teams will be pool play, round robins 1 to 15 with playoff between top 4 teams; Semi finals will be 1 game to 15 with Gold/Bronze matches playing 2/3 to 11

-All the above formats are win by 2.

-3 games minimum guaranteed for all.

Once brackets fill, interested teams will be added to the waitlist. We will NOT overfill this tournament so we can ensure a well-run, smooth experience for all!

There will be Food trucks outside; with a bar inside with water, sports drinks and alcoholic drinks available for players and spectators. Tournament snacks (Fruit) will be provided to players. No outside food or beverages (other than water) will be allowed in facility.

**The open brackets need a minimum of 8 teams for full payout.

Brackets with less than 4 teams could be combined. Tournament director has the right to change the format and/or bracket combination to ensure a quality experience for all players.

The Official Ball of the tournament is FRANKLIN X40.

This tournament has a NO refund policy.

An "Open" division will be offered for Gender Doubles (Men's and Women's) and Mixed doubles. Anyone with any rating can sign up for the Open division. The Open Division has an additional cost of $50 per person ($100/team). The Gold medal team will be awarded $2000 - a WINNER TAKE ALL style format 💥. Double elimination bracket will be played - front draw matches will be 2/3 to 11, win by 2, with back draw match format, rally scoring to 21, also win by 2. Once registration fills for this event (20 teams), a waiting list will be used.

This is an INDOOR tournament; all matches will be played as scheduled.

Please hydrate before coming to the tournament and make sure that you are drinking plenty of water before, during and after your matches. If you think you are drinking enough to stay hydrated, you may not be, - hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.
