Welcome to the first Paddle for Purpose presented through the partnership of BEL Rotary and the Lakefield Community Care.
This event is intended to be an introductory tournament that will also allow pickleball players to give back to the community. All proceeds will be shared by BEL Rotary and the Lakefield Community Care.
Saturday, September 20th will be the Mixed partners day.
30 teams over 60 and 30 teams 59 and under can enter in DUPR rating Level of
* 2.00 - 2.99 (10 teams at each age group),
* 3.0 -3.49 (10 teams at each age group),
* OR 3.5 - 4.5 (10 teams at each age group) .
Round Robin starts at 8:30 with registration open at 8:00am.
Playoffs immediately following lunch
Sunday, September 21st will be Men's and Women's partners day
30 teams Men's teams and 30 Women's teams DUPR rating Level of
* 2.00 - 2.99 (10 teams for each gender),
* 3.0 -3.49 (10 teams for each gender),
* OR 3.5 - 4.5 (10 teams for each gender) .
Round Robin starts at 8:30 with registration open at 8:00am.
Playoffs immediately following lunch
Lunch will be provided both days for all registered participants between 12:15 and 1:00pm. Report any dietary restrictions when you register by emailing mrichardson@selwyntownship.ca.
Play will be with the Franklin X40 ball, official ball of Pickleball Ontario.
Players are responsible for ensuring that their paddle is on the USAP approved paddle list.
