JULY 23 - CHANGE of Playoffs for brackets divided into pools: top 2 teams from each pool will advance. Top from pool A will play second place from pool B. Top from pool B will play second place from pool A. The 2 winners will play for gold / silver. Losers will play for bronze.

The Fall Paddles at the Plex tournament host 24 covered, individually fenced, lighted courts.

Registration is $75 which includes one lunch food voucher and a tournament gift. Each event is $5.00. There is also a $5 pickleball brackets fee for each event up to 2 events. In doubles events, both partners must register and pay. This is a 4-day tournament. Registration may be capped at 500 players, or by events, when the day is full.

Thursday (October 3) will be senior (60+) men's singles and senior women's doubles. Friday (October 4) will be men's doubles and women's singles. Saturday (October 5) is mixed doubles. Sunday (October 6) is under 60 men's singles and under 60 women's doubles. You may play down in age, but you cannot play twice in the same event (i.e. cannot play senior men's singles and under 60 men's singles).

There is a $10.00 discount available for Opelika Pickleball Club members.

Age brackets are 10+, 30+, 45+, 60+, 65+ and 70+. Skill levels are 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5+ (using PBB ratings)

Format: Brackets of all skill levels will be round robin. Small brackets may be combined; however medals will be awarded for players in all original brackets. Tournament director reserves the right to adjust the format.

All singles will be full court singles.

Days may fill before some brackets, which could cause brackets to close based on the daily limit not the bracket size. Sign up early and complete payment for the entire team. Completed teams (both partners registered and paid) have priority on available slots. Teams not paid in full or without partners will be moved to waiting list to make room for paid teams.

All registered players will have member privileges at the Opelika Sportsplex during the tournament.

There will be food trucks available for lunch. All players, upon first day of check-in will receive a lunch voucher good for a meal along with a player gift.

No pets / dogs allowed in the pavilions.

The Plex is located 1 hour fifteen minutes from Atlanta's Hartfield Jackson airport. A straight shot down I-85 to Alabama Exit 64. Head west from the exit about 1 mile to the Opelika Sportsplex and Aquatics Center. The 2 Pickleball Pavilions are located directly behind the main building.

Player cancellation/withdrawal prior to September 20, 2024, will result in full refund less a $20.00 administration fee. "Waitlist" players will be provided with an appropriate refund less $20.00 administrative fee. There will be no cancellation refunds after September 20, 2024. (Please note that the Pickleball brackets service fee, $5-$10, is non-refundable.)

Inclement weather policy - This is an outdoor tournament. Although the courts are covered, there could be blowing water issues or court condensation issues. If weather is a factor, we will do all we can to allow play to continue. There will be no refunds or credits due to weather or other uncontrollable events.
