More than a medal. The Rally for Good Tournament Series.
With six tournaments partnering with local nonprofits, every match helps raise funds and awareness for causes that impact our community.
How It Works
The series will take place from January through September 2026. Each tournament benefits a different Middle Georgia nonprofit. Players choose a club to represent at each tournament. Clubs earn points through medals and donations. Two champions will be crowned: the Champions Cup and the Community Cup. The series will conclude with a celebration and awards banquet.
The first tournament in the series is Paddles for the Park benefiting Ocmulgee National Park & Preserve Initiative (ONPPI).
The schedule for Paddles in the Park is as follows:
Saturday, January 24 - Men's & Women's Doubles
Sunday, January 25 - Mixed Doubles
Competition each day will begin as early as 8:00 AM. Specific start times for each event will be posted and emailed to players approximately one week prior to the event.
Registration will remain open until 11:55 PM on Sunday January 18, 2026 or the time at which the capacity of 400 participants is reached, whichever comes first. Should a tournament reach capacity prior to the registration deadline, additional registrants will be added to a waitlist and entered into the field as openings become available.
Tournament registration is $40 per player for Rhythm & Rally members and $60 for non-members. Registration includes two events (gendered doubles and mixed doubles) per tournament. Rhythm & Rally members may request a discount code to use during registration through sgreer@rhythmandrally.com. Discount codes are valid for a single use and expire when registration closes.
Players will be directed to select a partner or request a partner during the registration process. Both partners must register within five days of each other or the team will be moved to the wait list. When a partner registers after the five-day grace period, the team will automatically move from the wait list back to the active list if there is an opening available and both players have paid. Players registering without a partner should request "Need Partner" during the registration process. This request will be visible to players viewing the tournament and interested parties can reach out regarding a potential partnership. Please note that tournament participation is not guaranteed until both team members have registered and all fees have been paid in full.
Skill levels will include 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 brackets. DUPR ratings will be used to determine the lowest skill level bracket that a player is eligible for. However, the tournament director reserves the right to move a player to a higher or lower level at their discretion. A team must play at the skill level of the higher rated player (or higher) and the age group of the younger player. For tournaments taking place in 2026, age is calculated as of 12/31/2026.
As registration proceeds, tournament management reserves the option to combine brackets as needed if brackets do not fill. If brackets are combined to create playable brackets, awards will be based on the original bracket a player signed up for. Tournament management also reserves the right to convert brackets to double elimination, if necessary. Age groups will be split after registration closes.
There will be no referees for the 2026 Rally for Good Tournament Series. All matches will be self-monitored. Participants are expected to exercise good judgement and sportsmanship when calling their own lines. In unique cases, an official may be requested and will be provided by tournament staff based on availability.
The official ball will be the Diadem Official Premier Outdoor Pickleball.
Competition will take place in an air conditioned 32 court indoor pickleball facility with acrytech professional grade courts.
