Welcome to the 2026 Paddletek One Point Challenge
Put on by the MLP and hosted by the Beer City Open
Tournament Dates: July 9th-12th, 2026
MLP, in partnership with Paddletek, will be hosting the first-ever Paddletek One Point Challenge - featuring 128 doubles teams (256 amateur players) in a one-point-per-match, single-elimination event with $25,000 on the line - as part of the Edward Jones Mid-Season Tournament in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Entry is pick-your-price starting at just $5, and all proceeds from this event support the Belknap Park Foundation, helping to maintain the courts that make the Beer City Open one of the most beloved tournaments in the country. Please consider an additional donation. You must have a connected DUPR account to register.
**NOTE THAT REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT DOES NOT INCLUDE A GROUNDS PASS**
You will need one each day that you are scheduled to play. You can purchase them at the following link: https://www.tixr.com/groups/ppa/events/mlp-mid-season-tournament-169264
Registration opens May 5th at 8:00 AM EST and will close on Wednesday, July 8 at 12:00 PM, or until the tournament reaches capacity.
Players may signup individually or as a team. Those who sign up without a partner will be paired with one another in the order that they register. Players will remain with that partner until they are either eliminated or win the Amateur Round of 16, after which, 16 MLP pro players will conduct a draft of the remaining amateurs. Qualifying amateurs will have the chance to play with their very own pro teammate for the remainder of the tournament on Championship Court!
