Discipline: Mixed Doubles
Maximum Total Prize Pool: $4000
Maximum Prize Allocation (Per Event - $1000):
1st Place: $500
2nd Place: $300
3rd Place: $200
Prize Rule: The prize pool is contingent upon full participation (10 teams) in each division. The pool will be reduced by $100 for every team under the 10-team maximum registration (e.g., 9 teams = $900 prize pool for that division).
Registration Rule (DUPR Eligibility)
Playing Down: Teams are not allowed to play down. The registered division must be equal to or higher than the higher-rated partner's DUPR.
Playing Up Limit: Teams are allowed to play up a maximum of 0.5 DUPR points (one division) from the lower-rated partner's DUPR.
Eligibility Examples:
A team with both players at the 3.5 DUPR level may register for the 3.5 or 4.0 event.
A team with one player at 3.5 DUPR and the other at 4.0 DUPR may only register for the 4.0 event.
Tournament Format & Rules
Timeouts (Universal)
Teams are allowed 1 one-minute timeout per game in all formats (pool play, single-game playoffs, and each game within the best 2/3 matches).
Pool Play (Round Robin)
Structure: 2 pools of 5 teams.
Advancement: Top 2 teams from each pool (4 teams total) move to the Semi-Finals.
Game Scoring: 1 to 15 points, win by 2, hard cap at 17 points.
Playoffs (Single Elimination)
Semi-Finals: Single game to 15 points, win by 2, hard cap at 17 points.
Money Games (1st/2nd, 3rd/4th): Best 2/3 match format. Each game is to 11 points, win by 2, hard cap at 13 points.
