PBX Winter Championships 2025, Presented by The Pickleball Studio

This tournament will be hosted in collaboration with The Auburn Picklebears & South West Sydney Pickleball.

Join us for an exhilarating one-day pickleball tournament at the state-of-the-art Oran Park Leisure Centre on Sunday, June 29, 2025. Held alongside The Pickleball Expo 2025, this action-packed event promises thrilling matches, vibrant festivities, and a host of exciting activities for players and spectators alike. Don’t miss out on this dynamic celebration of pickleball!

Registration is $50 which includes entry into one event. Players can enter a maximum of 1 event.

Be proactive to find a partner - someone also looking for a partner, or someone you know who has not registered yet.

PLAYER RATINGS

This tournament uses DUPR ratings.

-Players will not be able to sign up to events which their DUPR exceeds.

We may make exceptions for the following reasons

- Low reliability scores in DUPR ratings

- Past performances in tournaments

- DUPR only exceeding the cap by a small margin.

Tournament Organiser reserves the right to move players into appropriate divisions to ensure both fairness and competitive competition.

Registrations for all events close on 25 June.

Oran Park Leisure Centre is a brand new sports facility which will boast 14 spacious indoor pickleball courts. This amazing centre offers a free car park, a café, indoor aquatic centre and many other facilities.

Tournament director will prioritise pools of 5 or 6 teams. With an expected 3 teams per pool proceeding to playoffs.

All players will be guaranteed a minimum of 3 games per event.

Games will be to 15 points by 2 points in round robin events with up to 4 teams, and up to 11 points by 2 points in round robin events with 5 or more teams.

Yellow onix will be used balls for indoor.

IMAGES TAKEN DURING THE TOURNAMENT

It is a condition of entry that all attendees may be photographed or filmed at the event and that these images may be stored and used by APB, SWS or our sponsors on websites, social media and other purposes without express permission or payment. NOTE: Filming of games requires the permission of all players on the court. If all players agree and the camera is in a fixed location, the device must be positioned at waist height or above.

Full refunds will be provided to players who withdraw for any reason - no questions asked – before close of registration (25 June 2025) - excluding transaction and service fees.

Players who withdraw due to illness or injury after registration closes (25 June 2025) who provide a medical certificate will receive a full refund minus service charges.

General withdrawal after the close of registration (25 June 2025) but before draws are published received a partial refund, with $30 of their registration payment retained to cover admin costs.

Once draws and event times are published, NO refund will be given, except when a medical certificate can be provided - see above.
