Upper Bay Pickleball proudly presents Spring Slam 2025 at the Pickle Factory! This is the second of 4 major tournaments at the Pickle Factory this year. After each tournament players will receive points toward the Pickle Factory Cup Championship. Points will be based on where a player finished in their overall bracket. The players with the top points will be invited back for the Pickle Factory Cup Championships in December. The more tournaments you play the more points you can earn toward the year's total.
Early bird pricing ends on February 16, 2025 at 8:00 AM. As with all Upper Bay Pickleball tournaments, you will receive entry in up to 2 events with your registration.
For doubles events your partner must register and pay within 3 days of your registration or you will be placed on the waitlist for the event.
Brackets may be combined based on registrations.
Start times will be posted by Tuesday April 1, 2025. These times will not change and are chosen to maximize court times and minimize waiting. We ask that all players have flexibility on tournament days to play at any time during the day. We ask that all players arrive in time for the projected start time.
Tournament play will be round robin format:
Pools of 5 teams or less will be games to 15 win by 2.
Pools of 6 teams or more will be games to 11 win by 2
For single pool events, the top 4 teams after round robin will advance to playoffs.
For multiple pool events, the top 2 teams from each pool will advance to playoffs.
Playoff format:
Gold/silver matches will be best 2 out of 3 games to 11 win by 2.
Playoff and Bronze medal matches will be games to 15 win by 2.
