Tournament Description
Pickle in the Land, presented by Nature Stone Flooring, is back this December 13-15 at Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland!
Registration is now CLOSED!
Division starting times will be released on Monday, December 9th, 2024, and opening draws will be released at 12:01am on Friday, December 13th, 2024.
NEW in 2024:
All matches will be played on Pickle Flex Pro, a Har-Tru product. All 24 courts will be professional grade pickleball hard court surfaces!
Guaranteed Number of Matches: 3 matches guaranteed. Please see tournament format below.
Ball Type: Joola Primo
Expansion: PITL will be using Hall A +B in the Convention Center. This means more room between courts for matches and spectators.
USA Pickleball Credentialed Officials: ALL medal matches will be officiated. During pool play, one (1) credentialed official will oversee three (3) competition courts.
Vendors: With more space and more participants, we will be hosting a vendor village for sport specific brands and products. More to be announced soon!
RESN Broadcast: Rock Entertainment Sports Network will be live broadcasting from Pickle in the Land on Friday and Saturday! Broadcasts live from a championship court will air from 4pm-7pm and will feature a full play by play and color commentating crew. The network will be available on channel 22.1 through free over-the-air broadcasts and the parties intend for it to be available through major cable, satellite and virtual pay-TV platforms throughout Ohio.
Tournament Format:
Pool play – round robin – best to 15, win by 2 (guarantee minimum of 3 matches).
• Pools of 12* teams or less, top 2 from each pool advance to tournament play. (*could change depending on total number registered)
• Pools of 13* teams or more, top 1 from each pool advance to tournament play. (*could change depending on total number registered)
Tournament play bracket – best to 15, win by 2
Championship match – best 2 out of 3, first to 11 win by 2
Medals will be distributed to all first and second place finishers.
All participants will receive a Pickle in the Land t-shirt AND a special giveaway item with their registration!
Pickle in the Land is not a ticketed event - it is free and open to the public.

Parking Information
Parking Fee: Yes
Parking is convenient with a direct connection to the 1,200-spot Huntington Park Garage. The garage entrance is located on the North side of Lakeside Avenue (opposite to the Hilton) and payment stations are located near the walkway entrance doors or at the W. 3rd Street exit gate. The direct walkway connector is accessible on the ground floor of the garage, through the marked doors reading ‘Convention Center, Hilton Hotel.
In addition, there are more than 5,000 walkable parking spaces surrounding our Center provided by city surface lots and garages.
