Aiken Pickleball, Inc. is hosting the Pickle in the Park Round Robin Tournament. This event will be held on Saturday, October 21 at Virginia Acres Park in Aiken, SC.
Registration fee is $35 and includes one event. There is a $10.00 charge for an additional event. Pickleball Brackets will impose a service fee at the end of checkout.
Events are as follows. The format is Round Robin. There will be a maximum of 7 teams per division.
Mixed 3.0, 3.5, 4.0+ 19+
Mixed 3.0, 3.5, 4.0+ 40+
Mixed 3.0, 3.5, 4.0+ 60+
Women's singles 3.5 and above
Men's singles 3.0 and below
Men's singles 3.5 and above
Players will sign up with a prearranged partner. Your team will play one match against every other team in your bracket.
There will also be a women's 2.5 scramble. Each player will play one game with every other player in the division.
As registration proceeds, tournament management reserves the option to combine brackets as needed if brackets do not fill.
A team must play at the skill level of the higher rated player, and at the age group of the younger player. Age is calculated as of 12/31/2023.
In divisions where a set partner is required, you may register and identify your partner or request "Need partner". Your identified partner must register within 30 days of your registration, or the team will be moved to the waiting list. When the identified partner registers after the 30-day grace period, the team will automatically move from the waiting list back to the active list if there is a slot available and both players have paid.
If a player needs a partner, the team will automatically move from the wait list to the active list once a partner is identified, registers, and both players have paid if there is an available slot to move to. Your spot in the tournament is not guaranteed until you and your partner have registered and all fees have been paid in full.
Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded in each event.
There are no referees. Matches are self-monitored. If a referee is requested, we will do our best to provide one.
