LFG Tourneys Invites You to PICKLE PALOOZA at West Reading Pickleball courts in Reading, PA!! The tournament will be held on Saturday October 5th and Sunday October 6th, 2024. PICKLE PALOOZA will be Round Robin format! Larger brackets will be split into pools and top teams from each pool will advance to playoffs. All teams will be guaranteed many games. Exact number depends on number of teams in bracket.

This will be an outdoor tournament with 10 designated Pickleball courts.

* Saturday, October 5th will be all levels MEN'S DOUBLES, and WOMEN'S DOUBLES, including PRO and SENIOR PRO.

* Sunday, October 6th will be all levels MIXED DOUBLES, including PRO and SENIOR PRO.

FORMAT -

* General Men's, Women's, and Mixed Doubles events will have several age brackets and skill levels of 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5. These events will be in a Round-Robin format. Each Round-Robin will have pools varying in size, depending on registrants. Games will be to 15 points, win by 2 points. The top couple teams from each pool will compete in a playoff. No come around. Bronze with be games to 15, win by 2. Gold will be best 2 out of three.

*We will have $$ payouts for our OPEN events! These events will be Round Robin into playoffs. Each Round Robin will be games to 15, win by 2. The top couple teams from each pool will compete in a playoff. Bronze and Gold matches will be best 2 out of three.

~ Join the Pickle Party! - $50.00 from 6/22/2024 - 7/31/2024.

~ Ready to Pickle! - 55.00 from 8/1/2024 - 9/30/2024.

Each General Event Fee - $15.00 each Each Open Event Fee - $60.00 each

**Tournament Directors have the right to make changes to format, adjust age brackets, or other items if needed.

* It is the intention of the Tournament Directors to submit results to DUPR.

Bonus - pklmart will be on site Saturday and Sunday and will provide match analysis for many of the players, depending on bracket size and match location.

* Medals awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams.

* General Event 3.0-4.5 playoffs (including bronze medal matches) will be one game to 15 points, win by 2 points. Gold matches will be best 2 out of 3.

* Open Events - Round Robin, top several advancing to brackets and medals. Medal matches best two out of three.

GENERAL RULES

* 2024 USA Pickleball Rules will apply.

* Team Age bracket will be determined by the age of the youngest partner. Age as of 12/31/2024.

* Team Skill level will be determined by the highest skill level of the player on the team.

OTHER INFO

Start times will not be announced until registration closes. We do this because the number of signups for each event will determine when we can start each bracket. We need to know the final number of entrants for each event in order to determine the most efficient start times to keep the day running as smoothly as possible.

Start times will be released one to two days after registration closes and may be subject to change due to any unforeseen circumstances.

* All team members must check in at least 30 minutes prior to their bracket start time. Please refer to Event Schedule for your team's bracket start time.

If you are registered and paid, we anticipate your attendance. In the event that a bracket does not have sufficient teams, the Tournament Director reserves the right to combine brackets by level and/or age.

Water and snacks will be available to players.

Sculinary Street Eats Food Truck will be available throughout the weekend.

Porta Pots will be available onsite.

You must show a photo ID with your birthdate to check-in. Please check-in a minimum of 30 minutes prior to your event start time each day that you play. If the tournament is running early, your event can start up to 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.

IMPORTANT - We ask that you start a DUPR account if you do not already have one. We also ask that all players join the LFG Tourneys "club" in your Dupr account, to assist in submitting tournament results to DUPR. This is not required, but appreciated :)

Core balls will be used for all amateur events.

Dura balls will be used for all pro/open events.

Refunds (minus a $30 to $35 fee [$25 fee plus $5 or $10 Pickleball Bracket event fee] depending on how many events you are withdrawing from) will be allowed until September 5, 2024 (one month prior). After that date, no refunds will be given for any reason.

*In situations of player swap, the new partner will need to pay the registration and event fee prior to issuing a refund to the withdrawing partner. A refund to the withdrawn partner will be issued (minus a $30 to $35 fee [$25 fee plus $5 or $10 Pickleball Bracket event fee] depending on how many events you are withdrawing from).

* Note - PickleballBrackets.com charges a separate administration fee at checkout that is non-refundable at any time if you are placed into an event.

PRO/OPEN DIVISIONS

Event fees are $60. Payouts will include $50 of the of the event fees.

Payouts - First (60%), Second (30%) and Third (10%)

This is an outdoor tournament. In the event of inclement weather, we will do our best to play the matches while prioritizing the safety of the players.

**If the entire weekend is anticipated to be very poor weather, the rain date will be the following weekend, October 12-13th.

If we have to cancel the event due to weather, players will be entitled to a 50% refund.
