Welcome to the 2024 Pickleball Canada Atlantic Regional Championship, hosted by Pickleball Moncton. This event will be held from June 14th to June 16th, 2024 at the Moncton Coliseum/Agrena Complex in Moncton, NB.
ELIGIBILITY
TO PARTICIPATE, ALL PLAYERS MUST BE:
A permanent resident of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island or Newfoundland and Labrador.
An active member of Pickleball Canada.
An active member of their respective Provincial Association.
In order to respect PCO sanctioning criteria, players may play up ONLY a 0.5 in rating level from their current CTPR in the event they want to register for.
The only exception is for Open events, where all players must have a minimum 4.5 CTPR rating to play in that event.
REGISTRATION FEE PER PLAYER
$75 registration fee, and
$15 per event played
The gold medal winners from the 2023 New Brunswick and Nova Scotia Championship are granted the privilege to pre-register two days in advance of the general registration for this tournament.
FORMAT
This is a Tier 1 Pickleball Canada Sanctioned Tournament event with all matches refereed and will follow Global Pickleball Federation rules.
This is a double elimination event: Match, best 2 out of 3 games to 11 win by 2. The loser will play in the consolation bracket, match to 15 win by 2.
The winner of the consolation bracket will play the winner of the winning bracket for gold, match 2 out of 3, game to 11 win by 2.
Bronze medal matches will be to 15 win by 2.

Check-in will be open at least one hour prior to event start.
The schedule will be refined as registrations progress.

Some events may be merged, depending on the number of registrations received, without further notice.
The Director also reserves the right to move a player/team to their appropriate skill category. No player will be allowed to register in a category lower than their CTPR AND/OR Pickleball Brackets rating without exception.

Afin de respecter les critères de sanction de PCO, les joueurs ne doivent pas avoir une différence de CTPR de plus de 0.5 pour être éligible à s'inscrire dans une catégorie.
La seule exception est pour la catégorie Open, où les joueurs doivent avoir un minimum de 4.5 CTPR pour y jouer.

Les médaillés d’or des Championnats provinciaux 2023 du Nouveau-Brunwick et de la Nouvelle-Écosse auront le privilège de s’inscrire 2 jours avant le début des inscriptions générales.
FORMAT
Ce championnat est un tournoi niveau 1 sanctionné de Pickleball Canada et toutes les parties seront arbitrées et les règles du Global Pickleball Federation seront suivies.
Il s’agit d’une double élimination : matchs 2 de 3, parties de 11 points, victoire par 2 points.
Les perdants jouent dans le tableau de consolation : match de 15 points, victoire par 2 points.
Médaille d’or : Le gagnant du tableau de consolation joue contre le gagnant du tableau principal, match 2 de 3, parties de 11 points, victoire par 2 points.
Les médailles de Bronze seront des matchs de 15 points, victoire par 2 points.

Certains événements peuvent être fusionnés en fonction du nombre d'inscriptions reçues sans autre avis.
Le directeur du tournoi se réserve également le droit de changer un joueur ou une équipe de catégorie. Aucun joueur ne sera autorisé à s'inscrire dans une catégorie inférieure à sa classification CTPR et/ou Pickleball Brackets sans exception.

Refund Policy
Refunds available up till the registration is closed. All refunds, for any reason are subject to a $15 administration fee. No refunds after the closing date for any reason.
