Pickleball Power Play features two different types of divisions: Non-Broadcasted Divisions and Broadcasted Divisions. The game formats for each are slightly different, so please read the information below to understand how your division will run.

👥 Non-Broadcasted Divisions

If you are playing in a non-broadcasted division, your entire division will be completed in one day. All round robin matches and any medal matches will be played the same day your division is scheduled.

📺 Broadcasted Divisions (Power Play Sunday)

If you are playing in a broadcasted division, you will play all of your round robin matches and bracket matches on the scheduled day. However, if your team advances to the Gold Medal Match, you will return on Sunday at a designated broadcast time to compete on our Championship Court during Power Play Sunday.

The Bronze Medal Match will still be played on the original day of the division.

When registering for a division, you can identify broadcasted divisions directly on the event page. These divisions will:

All non-broadcasted divisions will be completed in one day. These divisions follow our full round robin format and will not appear on the Power Play Sunday live broadcast. The structure below explains exactly how your division will run.

<h4>👥 7–8 Team Divisions</h4>

<li>8 Teams: 14 Game Guarantee — 21 Games Maximum</li>

<li>7 Teams: 12 Game Guarantee — 18 Games Maximum</li>

</ul>

In 7 and 8 team divisions, each team will play every other team in their pool one time in full matches (best 2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 2).

There will be no bracket play in these divisions. Final placement for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be determined by total matches won during round robin play.

If there is a tie in the standings, additional tiebreak criteria will be used including head-to-head results and point differential.

<h4>👥 5–6 Team Divisions</h4>

<ul>

<li>6 Teams: 10 Game Guarantee — 15 Games Maximum</li>

<li>5 Teams: 8 Game Guarantee — 12 Games Maximum</li>

</ul>

In 5 and 6 team divisions, players will first compete in a full round robin where every team plays each other.

After the round robin is complete, the top 4 seeded teams based on match results will advance directly to medal matches.

There are no semifinals. The medal matches are structured as follows:

<li>Players must register individually and find their own partner.</li>

<li>All players must pay their own fees.</li>

<li>The registration fee grants entry into the tournament.</li>

<li>Each event (Men’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles, etc.) is priced separately.</li>

<li>A $5 processing fee applies to all registrations.</li>

<li>DUPR ratings determine eligibility and division placement.</li>

<li>If a player registers outside their DUPR rating, they will be automatically moved.</li>

<li>If you are moved into the correct division and choose to withdraw, no refund will be issued.</li>

<li>It is the player’s responsibility to register according to their verified DUPR rating.</li>

<li>Divisions with no early signups may be removed without notice — register early.</li>

<li>Registrations are non-transferable.</li>

<li>You cannot directly transfer your spot to another player.</li>

<li>The substitute does NOT pay the full tournament price — only the required fees.</li>

<li>All substitution requests must go through the Tournament Director.</li>
