Get ready, Tyler, Texas—Pickleball Power Play is bringing the heat to East Texas with the Tyler Rose Pickleball Championships! This exciting new event will take place at a premier facility that captures the spirit and charm of Tyler, known as the Rose Capital of America.
The tournament will feature Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles across all skill levels and age divisions, giving players of every background the opportunity to shine. As with all Power Play events, our signature round-robin format means more games, more competition, and more fun for everyone.

Friday – Men’s Doubles 50+, Women’s Doubles 50+
Saturday – Men’s Doubles 14+, Women’s Doubles 14+, Men’s and Women’s Singles

📊 RATINGS AND PLAYER PLACEMENT
To ensure fair and balanced competition, the barrier for entry will be based on your DUPR rating.
We will use your current DUPR rating to determine if you are registered in the correct division. If your DUPR rating does not match your registered skill level, we reserve the right to move you to the appropriate division.
This helps maintain the integrity of the tournament and ensures all matches are competitive. If you have questions or concerns about your DUPR rating, feel free to contact us—we're here to help!
📈 SCORE REPORTING AND RESULTS
All scores from the Tyler Rose Pickleball Championships will be reported to both Pickleball Brackets and DUPR, so your hard-earned results will be reflected on both platforms.
🧑⚖️ REFEREE INFORMATION
Pickleball Power Play will have roaming referees on-site to help maintain fairness and enforce key rules like kitchen faults and score integrity.
Our referees are trained and empowered to ensure consistency and a smooth tournament experience. This will also be covered in detail during the Player Orientation.
❓FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: What if I don’t have a rating?
A: No problem! Select the division that most closely matches your current skill level. Use the Self-Rate feature in your Pickleball Brackets account if needed. Please choose honestly—sandbagging is not tolerated and may result in removal or ban from future events.
