Join us in Denton, Texas for the First Annual Senior National Pickleball Tournament, hosted by Pickleball Power Play at the premier indoor facility — Dinkers Pickleball Club. Featuring 15 indoor, dedicated courts, this top-tier venue is the perfect stage for one of the most exciting senior-exclusive events in the country.

This tournament is exclusively for players aged 50 and up. We offer competitive brackets for all skill levels:

💳 What Does My Fee Pay For?

<li>Each player must register and pay individually for Pickleball Power Play events.</li>

<li>One person cannot pay for the entire team; every player is responsible for their own registration and fee.</li>

<li>During registration, players select their partners individually.</li>

<li>All fees cover individual players only, ensuring fairness and accurate tournament records.</li>

📊 RATINGS AND PLAYER PLACEMENT

At Pickleball Power Play, we are committed to maintaining fair, competitive divisions across all our tournaments. To do this, we will verify all player registrations based on DUPR ratings.

<li>▶️ Division eligibility is determined by DUPR, and we reserve the right to move players into the division in which their DUPR rating fits.</li>

<li>▶️ Only one player on the team needs to meet the DUPR requirement for a specific division. If one player qualifies, their partner may piggyback into that division.</li>

</ul>

This gives teams more flexibility while still preserving the integrity of each bracket.

📝 Registration

<ul>

<li>Registration is now open through PickleballTournaments.com.</li>

<li>Registration closes on October 15.</li>

<li>Admins reserve the right to reopen registration if needed.</li>

<li>Players must sign up individually and are responsible for finding their own partner.</li>

<li>All players must register and pay their own fees. You cannot pay for your partner.</li>

<li>The registration fee grants entry into the tournament, and each event (e.g., Men’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles) is priced separately.</li>

<li>A $5 processing fee is applied to all registrations.</li>

</ul>

📊 DUPR & Division Placement

<ul>

<li>DUPR ratings will be used as a barrier for entry.</li>

<li>If a player signs up outside of their verified DUPR range, they will be automatically moved to the appropriate division.</li>

<li>If you are moved into the correct division by Power Play due to incorrect registration and choose to withdraw because you're unhappy with the change, your refund request will not be approved.</li>

<li>It is the player’s responsibility to register for the correct division based on their verified DUPR rating.</li>

<li>If a division receives no early sign-ups, it may be removed without notice. If you're planning to play in a specific division, register early to ensure it stays open.</li>

🔄 Division Rules & Multi-Event Participation

<ul>

<li>You may play in multiple divisions, but cannot play in two divisions at the same time.</li>

<li>You can play in two divisions on the same day, as long as they are scheduled at separate times.</li>

<li>To play up in skill, at least one player on the team must qualify for the higher division.</li>

<li>The tournament uses a block time system, meaning each division is scheduled within a designated time window.</li>

⚖️ Tournament Administration & Format

<ul>

<li>Tournament administrators reserve the right to merge divisions based on age and/or skill level without notice.</li>

<li>All Pickleball Power Play tournaments use a round-robin format with guaranteed games, ensuring a minimum level of play for every team.</li>

</ul>

🔁 Substitution Policy

<ul>

<li>Registrations are non-transferable. You may not directly give your spot to another player.</li>

<li>Substitutions are allowed only through the official procedure:</li>

<ul>

<li>If you are withdrawing and have a friend who wants to take your place, they must go through the official substitution process.</li>

<li>The new player must pay all applicable system management and administrative fees.</li>

<li>The substitute will not pay the full tournament price, but must cover all obligated service and admin fees.</li>

<li>All substitution requests must be coordinated directly with the Tournament Director. Please contact us for assistance.</li>

</ul>

Refund Policy

Refund Policy

– Standard refunds: Players who withdraw before the designated refund deadline will receive a refund of the original payment minus a $5 service fee and a $15 administrative fee.

– Example: Paid $50 → Refund = $30.

– No refunds will be issued after the refund deadline—no exceptions.

– If you are moved to a different division due to entering the incorrect DUPR range and choose to withdraw, your refund request will not be approved. It is the player’s responsibility to register in the correct DUPR-rated division.
