This tournament is for players 18 - 49 and 50 - 89. There are 4 events for you to choose from or just play what you want to play! Anyway we know you will have a lot of fun before and after the events.
The Event Schedule is as follows:
Friday July 10 - Skinny Singles and Singles Round Robin Age/Skill
Saturday July 11 - Women's Regular Scoring Doubles Round Robin Age/Skill
Sunday July 12 - Women's Doubles Rally Scoring Round Robing Age/Skill
Explanation of Rally Scoring (MLP Format)
Rally scoring in Pickleball awards a point on every single rally won regardless of which team served making games faster than traditional side-out scoring. A team scores a point and wins the serve when they win a rally. Each team has one server per side-out. The player on the right court will always serve from the right and will not change positions and the left court server will serve from the left court and not change positions. On a side-out, the server is determined by the score. If the score is even, the right court server will serve, if the score is odd, the left court server will serve.
Point Every Rally: The winning side of a rally gets a point. If a receiving team wins the point they gain the serve.
One Serve: Most rally formats MLP have one server unlike the traditional game with "Server 1" and "Server 2", so these are eliminated.
Serving Position: Similar to singles, the score is determined by the score.
Winning: In our tournament we will be playing 1 - 21 win by 2 points.
