The Amateur Slam is back with a bigger and enhanced tournament for 2024! Teams will compete for $25,000 in prize money and the chance to play against tennis legends Andre Agassi, Stefanie Graf, Maria Sharapova, and John McEnroe! The February 2024 Am-Slam will feature 64 teams (single gender and mixed gender teams allowed) and teams cannot have a combined DUPR doubles rating over 8.5. The top team from each group, 16 groups of 4 teams in each, will advance to a single-elimination bracket. The team that finishes second in group play will advance to a single-elimination consolation bracket. The winner of the main draw and the consolation draw will face off against two of the legends in a game to 11!

Entry fee is $150/per player ($300/team) and includes 3 guaranteed matches, Am-Slam gift bag, access to exclusive Pickleball Slam 2 merchandise, and a 10% discount on Pickleball Slam 2 tickets.

All teams will play on Friday, February 2nd and teams that advance to the Quarterfinals will move onto play on Saturday, February 3rd.

Tournament groupings will be made the week of January 29 and posted on this page no later than January 31st.

Saturday, February 3

- 3:00 PM: Legends Tie Breaker vs. Champions of Winner and Consolation Draw

Maximum DUPR Rating: Teams may not have a combined DUPR doubles rating over 8.5. Teams will not be able to participate if both players do not have a DUPR rating and the tournament reserves the right to disallow teams from competing. A team's DUPR rating will be the combination of both player's DUPR at the time of registration.

Registrations are being monitored and all player DUPR ratings will be verified, once your team's combined DUPR has been verified you will be notified.

Format: Round robin matches are rally scoring, first to 21 points, win by 2. Single elimination matches are rally scoring, best of 3 games to 11, win by 2.

Refund Policy: No refunds will be made but teams are allowed to transfer their registration spot to another player assuming that player meets the tournament DUPR requirements.

Inclement Weather: The Am-Slam 2 is an outdoor tournament. If weather or any other unforeseen circumstance occurs the tournament will do all it can to play matches. If brackets are in mid play when a weather or unforeseen circumstance occurs the situation will be evaluated on a case by case basis.
