The tournament format is a Round Robin with a minimum of 3 games for all participants. Most participants will play more than 3 games.
Games to 11 points, win by 2
Medals awarded based on USAP's guidelines:
IFP Standard - Total matches won

First tie-breaker: head-to-head matches won.
12.C.3.b.
Second tie-breaker: point differential of all games played. (e.g., Team A won Match 1 11-8, 11-4, so they would have a point differential of +10. Team A then wins the second match 11-9, 2-11, 11-6. For this round, they would have a point 50 differential of -2. This would give them a total for the day of +8.)

Third tie-breaker: head-to-head point differential.

Fourth tie-breaker: point differential against next-highest team. (e.g., If the teams are tied for second, use point differentials against the first-place tea
Larger brackets will be broken into two or more pods with a playoff round for medals. Semi-finals will be one game to 15 points, win by 2. Medal matches will be 2 out of 3 games to 11 points, win by 2. ONLY brackets with 8+ teams will have playoffs.
Initial age breaks are 12 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 54, 55 - 59, 60 – 64, 65 – 69, 70 – 74, and 75+. Additional age, and/or skill breaks will be added/combined as necessary based on registration numbers to ensure quality play. Tournament may close at any time if maximum daily numbers are met (even if some events appear to have openings)
Note: All paddles must meet USA Pickleball requirements for tournament legal.
While this is a non-sanctioned event, we plan to have a certified referee onsite for questions regarding rules.
