Pickleology's 1st Annual Charity Pickleball Tournament

BENEFICIARY:

Hamilton Fire Department Relief Association (HFDRA)

MISSION:

Founded in 1921, The Hamilton Fire Department Relief Association (HFDRA) is an independent 501(c)3 charitable organization with the sole mission of providing support to the families of Hamilton's firefighters and EMTs who are killed, injured, or become sick in the line of duty. All funds donated to HFDRA are used in support for this mission.

TOURNAMENT DATE:

June 29 - Mens Doubles

June 30 - Womens Doubles

FACILITY:

Pickleball benefit will be played on 8 outdoor courts at Patton Park in Wenham, MA

Outdoor Hours: Saturday and Sunday (9AM-4PM)

In case of inclement weather, the tournament will be played Indoors at Gordon College.

Indoor Hours: Saturday (9AM-4PM) / Sunday (11PM-6PM)

Brackets will be played within 2 hour segments.

FEES:

The registration fee is $60

FORMAT:

All games will be Round Robin.

Based upon the bracket size, the games will be 15 or 11 points winning by 1.

Brackets are limited to a maximum of 5 teams.

Skill Levels: 2.5-4.0

Age Brackets: 19-49, 50-64, 65+

PRIZES:

Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals will be awarded to top finishers.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

The Tournament Director reserves the right to merge brackets when there is an insufficient number of players within a bracket to make for meaningful play. The Tournament Director also reserves the right to change the format should circumstances, such as adverse weather conditions, necessitate expediency. However, medals will be awarded based upon the final composition of a bracket.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY:

Any withdrawal before registration closes (typically 10-14 days in advance), will incur a $20 processing fee. Withdrawals after registration closes are non-refundable.
