Round Robin: All participants are split into pools based on the total number of registered players/teams. Pool sizes will be determined after the registration close date by total number of participants.

Advancement: The top two players/teams from each pool to the playoff bracket. Tiebreakers are decided by total match wins, followed by point differential.

Play-Offs: Top teams enter a single elimination play-off until a winner is determined. Bronze Medal match will be played.

Medal Rounds: Team that wins best 2 out of 3 sets is determined the winner. Games will be played up to 11 (win by 2).

𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 & 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗡𝗘𝗥 𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗬

To secure your spot, both you and your partner must be fully registered and paid. If a division fills up, teams with unpaid balances or missing partners will be moved to the waitlist to make room for fully registered and paid teams.Partner

If you lose your partner after registration closes, you may replace them under the following conditions:

Eligibility: The replacement must already be registered for the tournament. They must fit the same skill and age division (remember: players may play up in skill or down in age).

Deadline: You must notify the registration contact with your replacement's details by 6:00 PM the day before your scheduled event.

Finding a Partner: Check the "Players Needing Partners" list if you need to find a replacement.

𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗦' 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

Pickle Point reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to ensure the tournament is conducted fairly, safely and efficiently, including:

- Review and adjust a player’s rating where their self-assessed rating does not accurately reflect their demonstrated ability.

- Move players or teams between skill divisions where it is determined that they have entered an inappropriate event.

- Adjust scheduled start times where necessary to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the tournament.

- Modify, reschedule, combine or cancel events where circumstances beyond the tournament organiser’s control require changes, including emergencies, venue requirements or other unforeseen circumstances.

Pickle Point may merge or split events based on the number of registered players or teams.

Events with fewer than six (6) registered players or teams may be merged with another suitable event or cancelled. If cancelled, all participants will be refunded their entry fees only.

All players or teams affected by an event merge will be notified by email as soon as reasonably practicable.
