COST
The price to compete is $50 per event. This includes the fee charged by Pickleball Brackets.
EQUIPMENT
All events will play with the Franklin X-40 except for the open division which will play Dura Fast 40.
FORMAT
This is a double elimination tournament. Winner’s bracket matches play best of three games to 11 points, win by 2. Consolation bracket matches play one game to 15 points, win by 2. Format may be changed to a round-robin if less than eight teams register for a division.
Two timeouts may be taken per team per game. The duration of the timeout is one minute.
All matches within a bracket will be chosen at random (including first round byes if applicable).
Brackets may be combined, separated, or altered at the tournament director’s discretion.
There will be one referee present, but players should expect their matches to be self-officiated.
AWARDS
Medals will be awarded to the top three teams in each bracket.
RULES AND SANCTIONED DESIGNATION
To the best of our ability, this tournament adheres to USAPA rules unless otherwise specified. This is a non-sanctioned event.
