SINGLE ROUND ROBIN FORMAT
- Events with 2 or fewer teams will either be merged with or moved to another event based on tournament director's discretion.
- Events with only 3 or 4 teams will play a single round robin - 1st and 2nd seeds will then play for Gold/Silver, while 3rd seed will take Bronze automatically.
- Events with 5 teams will play a single round robin. The 1st and 2nd seeds will then play for Gold/Silver. while the 3rd and 4th seeds will play for Bronze
- Events with more than 5 teams will be arranged by pools. Example: if there are 6 teams, they will be split into 2 pools; the top 2 teams from each pool will continue to the Pre-medal rounds (Medal Round format will be based on Tournament Director's decision) - additional pools may be added as required.
- You play each team in your pool (if implemented), 1 game to 11 points, win by 2.
-Top 2 teams from each pool (if implemented) will be determined by the IFP standard - Total matches won | First tie-breaker: head-to-head matches won | Second tie-breaker: point differential of all games played | Third tie-breaker: head-to-head point differential | Fourth tie-breaker: point differential against next-highest team. (e.g., If the teams are tied for second, use point differentials against the first-place team.)
* Tournament Director has the right to make changes to any format
* Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams.
* Initial round(s) of playoffs will be one game to 11, win by 2.
* All medal matches will be best out of 3.; 2 game to 11, win by 2. and 3rd game to 15 win by 2

PICOSO EVENTS MERGING
Processing Platform: STACKED)
PLEASE READ!!
Due to the ranging skill levels in some events, these events will be broken up into two events. The description below explains what format this will take.
Note: The mergers and medal awards in BOTP will only pertain to Lower Skill Mergers (The higher skill level(s) playing down) and will take effect after registration closes.
For an event NOT TO BE MERGED, there must be at least 3 teams signed up for it. In a scenario where less than 3 teams are signed up, they will be MERGED or MOVED to the next bracket lower or higher (.5 skill range) based on that team or Tournament Director's prerogative.
For Lower Skill Merge (example 3.0 skill merging with 2.5 skill event), whatever medal they win will be the ONLY medal they RECEIVE for both the merge and the initial bracket they signed up for, irrespective of what is stated on the processing platform; on the other hand, if they do not win any medal in the Lower Skill Merge, they will not get any medals, irrespective of what is stated on the processing platform.
For Higher Skill Merge (example 3.5 skill merging with 4.0 skill event), the team gets medals in that merge if they win, based on their initial signed up bracket as stated on the processing platform; that is. the highest 3.5 team in this scenario - even if they do not win a medal in this higher merge, will get the Gold medal for the 3.5 bracket they initially signed up for.
